"How long have you been sat there for?" Jade asked quietly, her grip on Elvis's hand tightening because she could take a guess at how anxious the blonde was probably feeling right now as the prospect of Perrie having heard the reason behind her upset.

Perrie looked between them, looked back and forth between there conjoined hands and Elvis's tear soaked face.

"Its my BBQ and my sister and best friend have been missing for about 12 bloody hours." Perrie pouted, obviously joking as her face suddenly softened, much to Elvis's obvious relief.

Elvis scoffed, though there was an smile behind her eyes. "Sorry, Pez. I feel like shit, as you can probably tell." Elvis joked, gesturing to her red eyes as she pulled her hand away from Jade's, hating the way Perrie had looked between them as if something was going on.

Perrie just frowned, oblivious to the way Elvis was feeling. "I hate that you're not talking to me."

"I'm talking to you right now, actually."

"Stop being so smart. You know what I mean." The older blonde said with a roll of her eyes, before turning to look at Jade. "You having a break down in my bathroom too?"

Jade laughed, drawing Elvis's attention back towards her. She couldn't help but smile as she turned and made eye contact with Jade. "Just Presley, I'm afraid. You know me, I'm just here picking up the pieces."

"Well, thank you. You're a good friend to us." Perrie said, smiling as she pulled Jade forward to kiss her on the cheek dramatically.

Perrie felt genuinely grateful for the brunette Geordie. She didn't know when her sister and her bandmate had become so close, but she was kind of glad that they had. Jade was a good friend to Perrie, and she was glad that her younger sister had that. Plus, Jade was a pretty good influence, better than Jesy anyways who would definitely lead her little sister astray at the first chance.

As soon as she and Jade emerged from the house, Perrie trailing behind them, Corey caught her arm and pulled her off to to the side. Elvis glanced back at Jade, who gave her hand one last supportive squeeze and a smile that made her involuntarily smile too, which didn't unnoticed by Corey.

    "Can we head off?"

"You want to go? But we only just got here." Elvis queried with a pout, somewhat surprised by Corey's need to leave.

"There's something I've got to say." He said, before looking around and then adding, "In private."

Slowly, Elvis nodded. She had no idea what Corey wanted to say, but she could tell it was going to be important.

    "Amy and Zac-"

Corey pulled her towards the front door, not even giving her a chance to say goodbye to her nearest and dearest as he spoke. "I've already told them, I'm paying for their taxi home. Trisha already left with Claud."

Sounds serious... Then, an idea of what it might be struck her and she felt excitement light up inside her.

....

"Look..." Corey began, his voice serious as he shifted in the drivers seat,  the car still in drive. Elvis turned to look at him, anticipating it being something urgent. "We need to talk."

Elvis placed a hand on the side of his face, her own face growing into a smile with each passing second because she was pretty certain that Corey was about to ask her to be his girlfriend. When Corey said nothing immediately, Elvis pinned it down to nerves and let her hand trail down his body until it rested on his chest. Not getting the reaction she wanted, Elvis slid her hand even lower until came to a halt just above his groin.
