14: Jennie

"Guys! Jennie is totally back!" Namjoon yelled as loud as he can.

Jennie was really there. She's standing their, screaming power and leadership.

Yoongi wasn't on the house as he was buying some ingredients together with Yoonji in a nearby grocery store since he wants to cook something for the night.

"Jennie! Y-You're back!" Taehyung was the first one to hug her. Somi, Taehyung's wife didn't mind her husband hugging Jennie as it was just his bestfriend.

Somi just smiled at her and Jennie weakly smiled back at her as Taehyung's sobs were now finally heard.

Hoseok walks over to them, patting Taehyung's back and joining their hug. Until the others followed and Jennie started to cry at the moment.

No words came out from her as she cried onto their arms.

"Jennie! Where have you been!" Hoseok asks, as they all broke out from each other's arms.

"I'm-I'm just on Anyang together with my mom these past five years....and my mom's still broken after what happened these past five years. She still can't accept it." she glances at Jin who suddenly looked down as they met gazes.

"I already forgave you Jin oppa. It's not everyone's fault. It's just....like unexpected turn of events. And I'm sorry for leaving y'all without a notice..." she suddenly looks down onto her feet until she heard a scream.

"Jennie!" Yoonji's voice boomed in the whole room as she runs towards the girl to hug her.

"Hey guys, I just decided to cook some steak for us-"

Yoongi froze. He couldn't believe what he's seeing right now. Jennie? Was she really right there or he was just hallucinating?

Yoongi rubs his eyes and he was wrong. He wasn't hallucinating. She's really there, standing and Yoonji on her shoulders, crying.

Jennie's eyes was closed and as soon it opened, she immediately met Yoongi's gaze that made her throat hurt. Yoongi broke the gaze, dropping the bag fill of grocery supplies before running away. It tear her apart as she saw Yoongi, running away from her.

The love of her life, running away from her as if she's a monster.

Yoongi didn't knew what he was doing. He just knew that he was trying to run away from that house. No, he can't face her. It hurts too much. Just staring on her eyes, he can't help but to get weak again.

For this past five years, all he felt was numbness. How the heck his heart skipped a beat as soon Jennie's eyes met his.

Fuck. As if all the pain and anger for Jennie suddenly disappeared and all he just felt was longing for her warmth on his arms.

He somehow ended up on a playground nearby. He sat on the swing and the seesaw infront of him grabbed his attention.

He started mumbling the lyrics of one of the songs he composed back then in highschool.

"Was the pretty arguments the start of it all? That moment I became heavier than you because from the very beginning....parallel never existed....Did we tried to be equal in spite of our n-need?"

He continued to stuttered on the next lyrics, "I-It was l-love and i-if this is the e-epitome of the definition o-of l-love...i-is there a r-reason to c-continue..?"

He choked on his words, he felt his eyes hurting.

"L-Let's not eye each o-other...a-and see w-who'll get off or not?"

"L-Let's try to e-end this and decide who'll get off or not..." he closed his eyes as he felt the cold air on his skin.

"No....I won't let you end it..." Jennie yelled from behind as Yoongi sighs before facing Jennie who's eyes was red from crying like his.

"I'm not letting you end this love. I'm not letting go your stupid ass. I'm already here and I'm not going anywhere again...." Jennie says as she started to walk towards him. Yoongi startes to cry once again, his gands covering his face.

He felt a warm embrace on his back. He started to cry even more.

"N-no..." he stuttered. "Y-you left me a-alone in d-despair, vanishing w-without saying anything." he cries, "Y-you left m-me alone! It h-hurts for me too y-you know! You ain't the only who cried on that accident! All of us cried! Shit!"

Jennie started to get guilty. But it wasn't nor anyone's fault why she left. Her mother's hurtung that time so she got no choice but to choose her mom's happiness instead of hers. So she brought her back to Anyang where they used to live.

"I-I'm sorry Yoongs, I didn't mean to-" she was cut off from her words as Yoongi started to walk away from her, heading somewhere only God knows where.

She just let him walk away as pang of guiltness started to hit her.

It's okay. I'm okay.
