"Hobi?" Jin knocked gently on his friend's door. He hadn't come to breakfast, and he had ignored the six texts he'd sent him since last night after he'd stormed from the club and disappeared before Jin could catch up to him.
"Mr. Jung has been in the workout facilities since early this morning," a maid said as she walked by him in the hallway, "if you're looking for him."
"Thank you." He bowed before heading downstairs, finding the man where she'd said he'd be. He was currently beating a punching bag like he had a grudge against it.
"Care for a break?" He called.
Hoseok gave the bag one last punch before turning. "Why are you here, Hyung?"
He tossed him a towel and a water bottle. "You missed breakfast."
The man looked up at the clock. "Oh. I didn't realize it was that late already."
"Where did you disappear to last night?"
"I went on a jog."
"At one in the morning?"
"Yes?"
"We all saw what happened with Jimin," He said. "I didn't have to hear anything you all said to guess what it was about."
Hoseok cursed under his breath, sitting on the bench and beginning to unwrap his hands. "It doesn't matter."
"I think you and Jimin need to have an honest talk about things. It's obvious there's something going on--and it's obvious you're using excuses and being stubborn about it."
"Hyung—"
"I'm not trying to lecture you," he cut in, "I'm just saying. I like Jimin, and I like how you smile when you're with him. I think you like it, too, so what's the problem?"
"If I said I don't know, would you believe me?"
He chuckled, patting him on the back—immediately regretting the decision when he felt the sweat covering it. "Oh gross."
Hoseok snorted, handing him the towel. "Thanks for worrying about me, Jin-Hyung, but I'm fine. Jimin made things pretty clear last night, so don't worry about it."
"I don't think he did," he said, shaking his head. "That seemed to me like he was just mad at you for not being honest."
"I'm an idiot," he sighed, leaning back on the bench. "Part of me wanted to grab Jimin and drag him out of there after I saw him kiss that Chin-Hae asshole, and the other part of me was relieved. If he's dating Chin-Hae, I can stop getting attached to him."
"You are an idiot," Jin told him. "You know damn well that you're in too deep for that. Just tell him that."
"You think he'd listen to me now?"
He shrugged. "Maybe. You never know until you try."
"I guess."
"I'm going to the beach to get some more surfing in, if you want to go."
"I'll join you later. I should probably stop by the kitchen and grab something to eat. And take a shower."
"Ok, I'll meet you there."
As he left the gym, he spotted Namjoon coming in the doors of the main lobby, still wearing the clothes he'd had on the night before. Their eyes met before he could retreat back into the gym, and Namjoon began walking towards him.
He rushed into an elevator and hit the close doors button repeatedly, cursing as Namjoon drew closer and they still hadn't closed.
"Jin-Hyung, can we t—"
