                      Garroth pov
       
Three days had passed and we were Brightport. Kai had still not woken up, and we were becoming more worried. Nothing seemed right, and the wound in her neck wasnt healing. I couldnt tell who's been worrying the most, though it probably was between Lady Aphmau and the girls. "Ugghh"
I look over at the door, and throughout the room, and noone else but me and Kai are in here. Suddenly, her eyes start to slowly open.  "H-hello?" Her voice, raspy and dry. She coughs and i notice tears forming in her eyes. "I-I'm alone, aren't I.. Just me, in this room.."  The tears roll down her face, and I feel pity.
               Aphmau pov
"G-garroth..? L-lady Aphmau? I-is anyone there?"   I feel a tear roll down my face, and suddenly, I hear a voice. "Kai! You're awake!" I open my eyes slightly more to see a blinding white light above me. Once my eyes adjust, I focus on where the voice came from. "L-lady.. A-aphmau?" Tears roll down my face. I try to move my head to get a better view of her face, but when I moved, my throat started to hurt. I moved my fingers to my throat and found a wound. I traced my fingers around it, and I remembered what happened. I remember the sharp sword being pushed into my throat. I remember not feeling any pain, or any worry until Garroth came down the stairs from his guard quarters. I remember the light. The light that I made once i fell unconscious. I don't remember anything after that though. I realized that Lady Aphmau was hugging me. "D-don't we need to.. s-see L-lady Katelyn?"  "No, not right now. I went and saw her a few minutes after we arrived in Bright Port, and she understands!" Lady Aphmau's happy voice always makes me smile, even when I'm in pain. "She said you needed to rest and heal before you came to see her, anyways."
                Aphmau pov
The door opens slightly, and i see a hint of blue reflecting off of the light. "Is she feeling better?" I nod my head. "She's awake now, you can come talk to her if you want." "It's fine, it can wait. She needs to rest for what I want to propose anyway." "Oh yes.. Okay then. If she is feeling up for it later, I'll walk her down to your Academy." "Thank you, Aphmau." I turn back to Kai, who now has a somewhat confused look on her face. "W-what d-did Lady Katelyn want to ask me?.." "I'm going to let her tell you, because it is very important. But, do you feel like you could walk up to the inn to see the girls?" Kai nods her head slightly, wincing as she does so. I walk up to her, and put my hands on her throat, and close my eyes. I focus on my healing magicks, and suddenly, a white light appears. After a few seconds, the wound is completey gone, with the exception of a scar across her throat. "Y-you didnt have to do that.. I could have dealt with it myself.." "I know, but i dont like seeing my friends in pain. You should rest for a little now, we'll go to the inn later."

                 At the Inn.
                  Kai pov
It was around noon, so there weren't many people in the inn. We go upstairs, and when Aphmau opens the door, the girls run towards me, and almost knock me over.
"You have to be careful! Remember, she just woke up!" "Sorry Kai.." "Sorry.." "Its fine, just try to be careful next time, okay?"
