The Academy

After spending some time with the girls, Lady Aphmau and I walked to the Guard Academy, where Lady Katelyn was. This was kind of hard for me, seeing as I had just woken up after three days, and haven't walked, also there was a hill we had to walk up.
When we got there, Lady Aphmau pulled me aside and said, "If you start hurting, just excuse yourself and walk out." Lady Aphmau walks away, and i knock on the door. After I go in, I notice that there are two other people in the room. Lady Katelyn motions for them to leave. I was trying my best to focus on what she said, though it was hard. "Kai, what I wanted to ask you was if you would like to start training here. Aphmau told me how you wanted to be a guard, and that you trained yourself. It wouldn't start until you are completely healed, but since you know how to attack with both far and close range weopons, you definitely have an advantage. You'll even get private lessons from me and other instructors if you need it. What do you say?" A chance to be a real guard. "I-I would love to."  She smiles. "I'll let you get back and get some rest, I'm sure you need it." I thank her, and leave. I find Garroth, and ask him where Lady Aphmau is. "She is in the courtyard. Though, I wouldnt go there, because it might trigger some memories that aren't the best" I know what he means. He means what happenes when I was four. "I'll be fine, as long as he doesn't come out of it." I walk towards the courtyard, and find Aphmau. We start talking, when suddenly, someone I recognize from my birthtown, walks infront of me. He catches my eye, and motions toward the corner. I excuse myself, and walk over there. Vylad?! What are you doing here?" "I'm here because i have word that Zane is coming. From the Nether." Just as he said it, a figure appears from the portal. I immediately know who it is. Then another figure. This one scared me. Vylad noticed and whispered to me. "Are you okay?" I shake my head. "Whats wrong Kai?" "H-he.. He did this to me."  I motion towards my neck. Three more figures come out. These I know by name. Laurance, Zenix, and Sasha. I realize that one of these figures are Zane. And i pull a bow off of a nearby rack. I scan the area for arrows, when the guy from the other day; Gene; notices me. "You survived. What now? Gonna kill us infront of your boyfriend?" I feel anger. Anger at Gene. At Zane. Anger at everyone who came out of that portal. I find arrows, but they're to far away. I silently put the bow down, and grab a sword to hide. I hold up my hands. "Fine, you got me. But you meed to know. He isn't my boyfriend." I quickly grab the sword, and get in stance. He pulls his purple sword, and swings it toward my neck.
"You know, you're not good at this." I cut his arm with my sword "I'd say I'm better with the bow, but its fine." "You bitch!" He swings again, but misses. I swing my sword toward his ear, cutting off his ear. "Shit!" He swings his sword but I block it with mine. "I'm better than you though, even if I only just woke up from a three day coma."

I hear a voice, that doesn't sound like Aphmau's. 'She has a point, Gene. Put are you sure this is the one? Wasn't she really bad at swordplay before?'
What are they talking about? In the time Gene is distracted, i cut his hand. "Fuck! What in the seven hells is for?" "Maybe for.. Lets see. Almost killing me." He swings the sword at me, but I dodge it. I look around, and notice Aphmau and Vylad are running out of the Academy, followed by multiple guards. Another figure walks out of the portal. This one looks familiar. I zone out, after realizing who it is. Or was. Aaron's body. But who's soul? I come back to reality.
