Kai Shanghai is someone who has extraordinary powers. Some even call her a Divine Warrior. Little does anyone know, Kai's past life, she was a Divine. When she found out, she called herself 'The Forgotten Divine'.
This takes place after seasons 2-3
Trigger warning, dont read if you are affected by these; Child abuse, kidnapping, r*pe, starvation. A.N. this is not a chapter that you absolutely need to read, you CAN skip this if you want, but it has some important lore on Kai, so I'd recommend reading this.
Kai was born on January First, 1819, in O'Khasis. Her parents were named Gertrude and Barin Malif. When she was three, her father divorced her mother. A month later, she was told her father had died. Her and her mom move to Pheonix Drop. A little over a year after, she gets kidnapped by shadow knights, and taken to her father, (who was in the Nether) who abuses her. She doesn't get found by her village for about three years, in that time period she was physically and mentally abused, starved, and r*ped. When she was found, she stayed with the Lord because her mom had a heart attack and died. When she was 9, one of the townspeople adopt her. She has babysat for Aphmau's kids for a long time. (and in present time, she is about 19 years old.) When she was adopted, she was scared, (her adoptive mom is Donna, in my story, Donna dated an abusive alcoholic.) Donna cared for her like she was her own daughter, even though she couldnt really afford too. (Again, in my headcanons of the characters, Logan was attacked by werewolves amd died from his injuries.) She helps her adoptive mother take care of the others.
When she was thirteen, she took up sword fighting, and trained herself using the old weopons from the Guard Station. She mastered how to use a bow, a regular sword, and Dante taught her how to use the double katanas. Even though she isnt a proper Guard, she helps defend the town, and its people. (This is Kai)

She is Japanese, lesbian, and has a crush on Katelyn. She doesnt like anything to do with her father (e.g. Shadow Knights, the Nether, her dad) She likes the Townspeople, Lilith, Athena, and Aphmau A.N. Kai has a tough backstory, maybe I'll do this with more of my characters. If you want more backstories/headcanons (for the og characters that aren't mine), then please comment.
