Mias POV: I woke up as I was being wheeled out of the bathroom. 'Mia I am so so sorry..' Tommy began. I looked to Trent. I could barely speak and I was in agony but I couldn't let this opportunity pass. 'Hire him. Hire Tommy.' I said to Trent. 'But..' he began. 'Do it.' 'I love you so much. You know that, right?' He asked. I nodded, slipping under once again.
I woke up and opened my eyes, I wasn't sure how long I'd been out for, but there was nobody in my room. I tried to move but I couldn't, and began to panic when I realised I couldn't breathe properly, or even speak. A nurse rushed in and removed a brace from around my neck. I could see what it looked like in the mirror and it made me feel sick. 'Can you speak?' She asked me. I shook my head and she sighed. 'It's worse than we thought.' I panicked. I'm a singer. If I can't speak, how am I going to sing? I've got a tour coming up. Is my baby ok? I began to cry, but it was silent tears, I couldn't make any noise. Trent walked in and I saw his heart break just looking at me. 'Oh my gorgeous.' He said, rushing towards me and trying to find a safe place to hug me. 'Don't touch her just yet, we still need to see the rest of the damage.' My nurse said. I looked to Trent, who moved his arms from me and placed them on his knee, bouncing it up and down. I looked to the end of my bed to see my profile, and what had happened.
Mia Southgate Born on the 5th August 1997 Aged 19 In hospital for: an attack Damage: punctured lung, brain swelling, severe swelling and bruising to the neck, throat and voice box, bruises and cuts to her legs and arms that needed stitching.
A tear rolled down my face. How did I let this happen to myself? I don't even know who these people were. I closed my eyes again and tried to forget everything that had happened to me. The door burst open, Winks and Pickford has obviously heard about what had happened as they were fuming. 'Mia, oh my god are you ok!' Jordan said, trying his best to not hurt me. 'Don't touch her.' My nurse said, slightly sterner than she did to Trent. They said they were going out to get me some food, and I nodded, knowing full well I wouldn't be able to eat it, but it was okay. I needed to be with Trent. I opened my phone and sent him a text. I couldn't speak to him, this was going to have to do.
Me: Trent, I love you so much. Thank you for everything, I am so so sorry about what happened.
Trent: don't be stupid, it was not your fault. I was so worried about you and It reminded me how much me and Lavender need you.
Me: I'm sorry.
Trent: don't be! Please my gorgeous, you deserve to be happy and the boys and me love you to the moon and back. Just focus on getting better and I'll be by your side. Lavender needs her mama.
Me: where is she?
Trent: on her way with her dad.
I looked to Trent and he had tears in his eyes. 'I love you to the moon and back my gorgeous. You have my heart and I will never let you go.' He whispered, in his husky voice. I wrapped my arm around his body and smiled into his chest. I was still in so much pain but I needed Trent. 'We've also hired Tommy. He's outside, taking his job very seriously.' He chuckled. I smiled. The door opened and my dad walked in with Lavender. She was crying, and he hurried towards me, laying her on the side of my body which wasn't hurt. She stopped instantly and moved her hand up to my hair. I smiled down at her and kissed her head. 'Is she ok?' My dad asked. Trent nodded and began to tell him what had happened. 'I'm so glad she's got you Trent.' He smiled.
