Ochako hurried down the hall, her brown, leather flats clacking on the tile with each step as she did her best to beat the traffic of her fellow classmates who were attempting to do as sheLunchtime always had the hallways busy. The students were eager to get out of their classrooms and take a break from the lectures and schoolwork that was brought on by their teachers for a moment, before returning back to the routine that was their dreaded school life.
Ochako, however, was excited for the rest of the day. She was mostly excited for lunchtime as well, since she would be able to continue talking with her newfound friends, but she was liking her new school so far and was ready for her next classes.
The young girl's new school was drastically different than her old school. There were many more students, more classes and clubs, almost no cracks in the walls, and from what Ochako could tell, everyone seemed a bit friendlier as well. The only time she would ever talk to her classmates were for simple things, and they would either ignore her, or give the girl a sarcastic response as she was left to wonder what she did wrong.
The only person at that school who was nice to the petite girl was her music teacher and the guidance counselor, who she found herself beginning to visit more and more often while she went to that school.
Once Ochako finally made it out of the first building, she began making her way to the next, trying to keep ahead of the bunch of students behind her as she passed by the benches and flowers in the courtyard, the flowers that she was admiring oh-so much just a few hours earlier, no longer paying much mind to them as she continued her venture to the lunchroom
Once Ochako finally opened the large doors of the cafeteria, she was greeted to a lot more people than she expected. She figured that the entire tenth grade was following her back in the courtyard, but she was proven strikingly wrong as she stared at the large amount of students all going about their business as they ate their lunch.
"Ochako! Over here!"
The bubbly girl turned her head to find Mina nearly standing on the bench, waving her arms at the young girl as the rest of the group turned their attention towards Ochako as well, gesturing for her to come join the group.
Ochako's mouth formed into one of her signature wide smiles and hurried her way over to the group of teenagers, where Kirishima and Bakugo both moved their plates to make room for the large eyed girl, Bakugo hesitantly doing so as he let out a large sigh.
"Thank you!" She beamed as she put her lunch bag down in the empty place on the table and sat down in between the boys.
"No problemo, ma'am." Kirishima replied with a smile, earning a giggle out of Ochako. Bakugo scoffed before fiesting on his rock hard bread, and Ochako began unpacking her lunch bag, pulling out a water bottle that she, with a bit of trouble, screwed the cap off of and began downing the clear liquid.
