Sunday, April 12th
Katsuki Bakugo walked down the empty street, the branches of the cherry trees swaying in the April wind as the blossoms blew off of the limbs one by one, falling onto the soft green grass, and settling on the surface.
The ash haired boy sighed as he turned his attention to the ground beneath him, watching each step his brown sneakers take, a small thump noise coming each time his foot hits the ground.
Katsuki Bakugo. A sixteen year old boy who could only imagine going a day without insulting someone. His fiery personality mixed with his rude demeanor created the ash blonde boy that his family and friends knew all too well. Nobody really knew how he managed to make the friends he had, and although he could be a bit crude, they cared for him dearly and saw the softer side of him that almost never made an appearence.
Bakugo would try to be nice. He wasn't completely terrible. It was just as if there was this mental block that kept him from being able to be pleasant for more than an hour, tops.
If he ever wanted to truly be good, it would have t be whenever he didn't try. It could only come naturally.
Surprisingly enough, his kindness came naturally a bit more than you would think. Bakugo was more than willing to beat up or tear down someone who dared lay a hand on his friends, and it was one of his admirable traits that people had about him, even if they were harder to find than his nastier ones.
Bakugo continued walking down the street, now looking at a gray colored house that was only a few feet away. The house was a modest one, but large enough to fit the small family that lived inside.
And inside that house lived his aunt, uncle, and cousin.
Bakugo couldn't say he was thrilled that they had moved next door. Even though he didn't show it, he loved his family and friends, but he didn't exactly want to live next door to his own cousin.
While Bakugo cared for his cousin, they were quite a bit different. Opposites, actually.
Bakugo was a taller, more muscular boy with light hair, narrow eyes, a sour attitude, and got into countless numbers of fights.
His cousin, on the other hand was completely different.
Ochako Uraraka, a sixteen year old girl who moved back to her hometown after eleven years of living elsewhere.
Ochako adored her hometown, and absolutely hated living out of it, so was very excited whenever she got the news that she was moving back. She found the town that she had lived in for so long completely boring, and was always scared of walking through her neighborhood due to the shady business that happened during the late hours of the night. Ochako was small, and while she was considerably strong for her size, there was no way she would be able to take down anyone with a weapon.
The news that she would be next door to her cousin shocked her, but she was pleased with it and was excited about having someone her age just a house away, despite their differences.
