Once Ochako arrived at the hospital, her parents drove to the emergency unit immediately and rushed to their Daughter's side as quick as they could.
Ochako ended up with a mild concussion, much to the relief of her worried parents. Once they got the news that she was hurt they expected the worst and were elated to find out that she would be fine.
That didn't stop them from worrying, however.
Every test under the sun was run on Ochako, and by the end of the day she was even more exhausted than she was after the accident. They tested her for things that they knew would be negative.
Ochako had what she considered her fair share of embarrassment in the span of those days. From walking into the wrong class, to flat out collapsing in the middle of the gym, the only two things she felt were exhaustion and embarrassment as she laid propped up in her hospital bed, her parents insisting that she stay for another night just to make sure nothing happened to her.
She wondered what her friends were thinking. Did they know that she was okay? She knew that Bakugo was aware that she was fine, so she figured that he had probably told them by now.
The girl turned onto her side, glaring at the monitor as it beeped steadily with the pace of her beating heart.
Ochako was glad that her parents cared, but she still couldn't help but despise the coddling. They, specifically her mother, kept her from doing innocent activities that they deemed harmful, and the young girl knew that if her mother had anything to do with it that she would never step foot on that gym floor again, which upset Ochako quite a bit. She found herself feeling comfortable in a group for once, and being able to branch out and meet new people brought a sense of joy that was a bit unfamiliar to her, so she was quite sad that she most likely wouldn't be participating in any dodgeball or soccer games again.
Ochako looked over at the clock and sighed. She had already wasted two days in the hospital, and she definitely didn't feel like trudging through another one in the bland and dreary place. She was healed from her concussion, and could get around perfectly fine in her opinion, but her parents insisted on another day in the place.
Ochako shifted,
"I miss school." She mumbled as she looked out of the large window that took over the entire front wall of the hospital room, revealing the busy Mutsufatsu streets along with multiple shops and buildings that lined the crowded sidewalks.
Mrs.Uraraka shook her head, her long, dark locks slightly moving back and forth.
"I know honey, but you never know." She replied, fatigue dripping off of her voice. The woman had barely slept during the days that her daughter was in the hospital, and she felt as if she would fall on the floor as well, the only thing keeping her from doing so being the fact that she wanted to keep a close eye on her daughter.
Ochako huffed,
"But mom, I have not fallen once during my entire time here."
"You've barely gotten up."
Ochako searched her mind for a response as she stammered. Mrs.Uraraka gave her daughter a knowing look. before looking back down at the magazine that she picked up out of the hospital lobby. Ochako fidgeted in her seat for an excuse to get up and move around, anything to relieve the cramps in her legs due to her lack of movement throughout the past few days.
"Can I at least go get some mochi if I'm gonna have to stay here another day? Please?" Ochako asked. Ochako's mother stood up, placing her magazine on her seat and grabbing her purse.
