Dangerous Attraction

CHAPTER SIX

           I lay on my bed staring at the ceiling, thinking about my old school. I had received many messages and phone calls from Ethan and we had talked most of the night. He is my boyfriend but we are trying to work out our long distance relationship.

I had suggested that we brake up but he said if we trusted each other there would be no problem so we continued our relationship.

I was'nt scared that he might cheat on me because i trusted him and he trusted me. I am content and dont plan on cheating on him either.

But my friends that i left were fuming with me , they refused to talk to me and Diane even blocked my number. I tryed everything , i even sent chocolate to their houses but no reply.

I'm sure they happily ate it and are still pretending to be angry with me. I'll just wait till they are ready.

I jump out of bed and into the shower. This past week was slightly a disaster. Time in the shower  gave me privacy to think.

After dressing up , i went downstairs for breakfast. I found my brother sitting on the kitchen isle with his phone in his hand.

I greeted everyone as i walked into the room. I walked to the kitchen to help my mum with the breakfast and after serving breakfast we sat at the dining table to it.

I am so happy its Friday,  i need a break from school for a while. Although i noticed that everyone was quiet and my brother seemed a little.........off?. Ok something was clearly wrong here, i would speak if everyone didnt constantly think of me as the 'baby' of the family. Its freaking annoying.

We all ate our breakfast silently , no one saying a word to each other while i quietly assesed everyone's expression. This seemed really bad.

After breakfast i headed for school,my brother didnt even speak to me or spare me a glance as i left. I tried not to think about it as i pulled up in the parking lot of our school. I could see students crowded in a circle near the door of the school building. Its like today is not gonna be my day.

I got out of my car and i could hear voices angryly shouting and as i stepped closer i saw the familiar face of jace. I could tell from the green veins popping out of his head and arms that he was going to murder someone. I looked at the person his anger was directed to , i couldnt recognise him.

As jace lounged forward , an arm(a huge one) caught him, restraining him from moving forward and that arm belonged to no other than Aiden. As Aiden talked hurridely to him i could see his anger fading. And with one last glare sent in the other guys direction,  Jace walked  away.

Aiden stayed back for a bit and both guys locked gazes and the other guy flinched from the intense threatening glare Aiden gave him. His gaze met mine , i stepped back uncounsiously and they lingered for a while before he walked away .

I entered the classroom imediately the bell was rung, i couldn't afford detention. As the teacher walked in he looked at the ceiling then settled in his desk. I chuckled at his behaviour , i heard all the teachers were really mad because of the prank that was pulled on the first day.

As lesson began i felt someone slip beside me , i looked up to see Tryon, he looked hot but we all knew who the boss was. I waved and smiled at him silently saying hello. When class was over he walked with me and we chatted for a while.

        AFTER SCHOOL

Immediately i got home i crashed on the bed,  i am phsycally exhausted. I heard the front door open and i knew it was my brother. My parents were already home and i could hear voices talking .I got up and went to the sitting room, and immediately they all stopped talking.

I looked at them one by one,  we are family , why would they be hiding information from me?. My brother walked past not even sparing me a glance. I looked at my parents and they stared at the floor guiltily. I could'nt take this any more. I grabed my jacket and headed out. I needed time and space to clear my head from all the tenseness in the house.

I got to the small cave near the park. I curiously went in and i was overwhelmed. At the edge of the cave was a small lake , and you could see most of the neigbourhood. As i walked in i realized i was not the only person in the cave. A dark figure was sat at a corner of the cave.

I began to retreat when the figure spoke "No need to run. You can stay." The voice sounded familiar, i really can't put a face to it.Hesitantly, i stepped forward and sat near the edge of the cave .

I looked back at the figure and as the face was revealed i nearly fell into the water.I blinked and pinched myself a few times to be sure it was'nt really Aiden i was seeing right now. Sadly,  he was still there staring at me in Amazment. I composed myself and looked forward.

We did'nt utter a word to each other,  just sat there appreciating the silence and beauty of the cave. And when it was time to go home , i walked out but not before hearing Aiden say 'Be careful.' to me. I was shocked but a smile made its way to my face. We were on the talking bases now.
