Simply Unfortunate (Alastor x Reader) HIATUS

Hey everyone, it's me again. You might be wondering where I've been and when I'll write another chapter. I've explained this in the description of this story, but I'll put this here just for you. ♥
I know I haven't updated this story for months, and frankly, I'm a bit disappointed in myself for doing so. This is the first time anybody has really cared for my work, so I feel like I have to finish it. Not for myself, but for you guys. But ever since that bonus lemon chapter, I retreated into a little cave of shame and regret. That's the main reason why I went away for a while, because I was too ashamed of what I had wrote. Nowadays, I've made peace with those feelings and moved on. At least I now know what my limits are. I've noticed I have a tendency to overreact, worry, and beat myself up over small, insignificant things. I try not to, honest, but I just want to please everyone. This should include myself, but unfortunately I have a pretty low self-esteem. While I try to move on, my mind just forces me to watch that city I built burn down. Anyways, I'll get to the second point.
The other main reason why I've decided to go on a hiatus with this story is that.... well, I don't truly know where it's going?? Hilarious, I know. At first, I thought about it going one way, then I thought of a better one, then another, and you get the point. The story right now is quite unfocused and messy, I'd dare even call it a "rough sketch." Though, this has brought me to take a step back and plan things out in my stories. Guys, I've literally started writing the plots out in a notebook, along with what some original characters for the story look like, it's crazy. They may be X Readers, but I believe that everyone deserves a well written story. Giving a fantasy happy ending to people who may feel lonely, unloved, or maybe just bored is kind of Heaven for me! Hope you understand what I'm getting at here...

So now, we've reached our conclusion. Simply Unfortunate is on a hiatus for story reasons. It won't be cancelled or anything like that. It'll just be under construction, that's all. Might be awhile, I try making these the best I can, and now that I've been writing these out first, you bet it'll be a process. Also, the chapters will be WAAAAAAY LONGER than before because I wanted to make it feel like an actual book. I've already been working on two other stories which are, if you're interested:
