Helping Aid (Aced x Gender nuetral!reader)

It was raining quite hard. After the fight on whose the traitor, Aced was almost defeated by Invi and Gula in the other act. Aced told Ira about the lost page till he was left alone in the alley.

Your pov
I hear grunting at the other side and I came to check it out. Surprisingly, there was Master Aced injured. I had no time to just stand there. I walk up to him and lower my body to his level.

"What do you want?" He asked in a softer voice. That hit was packed to keep him from moving. I use all my strength to pick him up and take him to shelter away from the falling droplets outside. I let him lay his back against the crate and I remove my hood.

"My name is (Y/N). I shouldn't be helping another union, or foreteller. But I just feel like it." I take out some potions and give one to him. Aced refuses and turn his head away. "I'm not trying to poison you. Relax." I put it in his hands and return my hands to my lap.

It took him awhile to trust you, but he gives up and used the potion. "You have a tough heart." He chuckled.

"A tough heart? No, all I do is push people away." I lower my head. "Back there, when you were fighting the other foretellers." I raise my head up to see his bear mask eyes. "Was it true? You're the traitor?"

Aced grips his fists. He didn't say anything till I spoke up. "I'm sorry. I wish that everyone could just get along. Five unions, one goal, but different paths you know." I stopped till Aced finally spoke. "I just want to do something than sit back. The traitor is what I'm worried about. If this keeps up, this world will be plunged to darkness!"

"It's is plunged to darkness now is the question." I said. Aced quiets down as I look outside. "I wish there's something I can do, but once the war will come, I'm afraid that I have to fight you." I mumbled. "You know how it's gonna end?" Aced asked softly.

"Yes, I had a dream about it. It was strange as first but, during that fight, me and my friend found out what's going on."

Silent was left till Aced finally spoke. "Do you— think I'm the traitor?"

I look up at him and shook my head. "To be honest— no, I don't see anything wrong what you're doing. But name-calling isn't gonna work if you really want to find the traitor. I think the traitor must be the person who will start the war." I said looking out the rain. "Everyone have their own paths and missions do to, not bothering to find out the traitor you know." A silent pause and I sigh deeply.

"You should get some rest once the rain stops." I stood up and ran out. "Oh and— your welcome and thank you for your hard work. And not almost dying back there." I giggled. Aced grumble and was about to retort back but I ran off with my hood over my head. Aced looks down at the empty potion and smiled.

"Strange kid."
