It was the man himself, Grell Sutcliff.
Standing right in front of you.
Watching you cry.
The first thing that came to your mind was to run. But it wouldn't work, as he was blocking your only exit.
The second thing was to try to explain yourself.
"L-Look *hiccup* I don't- I don't like you so could you- give- me some privacy?" You stammered out.
He looked into your puffy eyes with a sort of pitying look, like he was looking down at a rat who got it's tail cut off. This upset you further, but all you could do at this point is cover your face and cry harder.
Then he did something that surprised you.
He simply turned around, locked the stall and used his coat to cover you while embracing you gently.
His coat was surprisingly soft.
He hummed quietly, and your mind slipped into the comforting darkness of his coat and the musky smell of his shirt.
~Six Years Ago~
As you stalked Grell's FazeBook account, you felt great. Like, stalking isn't a great thing, but it doesn't hurt anybody, so what's the fuss?
Looking at his interests, the things he's done, the food he likes and so on. The color of his eyes, the shade of his hair and his flawless porcelain skin. Okay, maybe it seems a bit strange, but no harm done!
As you sipped your favorite drink, you got a notification on his profile.
Your. Heart. Skipped.
"In a relationship with Bassy"
You read it over and over again. Each time it hurt a little more, until you slammed the laptop shut, wrapped yourself into a blanket burrito, and cried yourself to sleep.
The next day, you convinced yourself nothing had happened.
The day after that, you accepted it. You unfriended and blocked him.
And since then, the Grell Sutcliff you loved didn't exist.
~Present Day~
"Why do you hate me so much, f/n," He said, barely above a whisper. You could hear the pain in his voice. "We used to be Fazebook stalkers."
Huh? How did he know that?
He must've read your mind, because he continued.
"You liked my photo 5 years after I posted it. I've known for a long time, f/n. Why did you stalk my page?"
You were trying to come up with a witty reply, but your mouth went faster than your brain.
"I was in love..." You were able to stop yourself before it all came out, but it had already been said, and there was nothing you could do about it.
Silence followed, and your heart clenched. You tried to escape, but he suddenly held you close and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Good, because I've been in love with you too, f/n." He said, completely out of character for who he usually was. You looked up at his face, which wasn't flamboyant, but instead soft and emotional.
