Awkward Moments Chapter 9

Bliss was reading a book when suddenly, Shadow came in the room.

"So what exactly did you do to Sonic?"

"It's best if you don't know."

"Ok?"

"He's fine. I just gave him a little warning."

"Just relax ok? He's probably just joking."

"I take jokes very seriously."

"Whatever." Bliss places the book down and turns her body away.

"Good night Shadow."

"Night." Shadow climbs into bed and falls asleep. The next morning, Bliss woke up, finding Shadow snuggling her in his sleep.

Bliss freaked out a bit, making her fall off the bed. Shadow got pulled off the bed with her, making him grunt in pain a little.

Bliss moaned in pain and then realized that Shadow was on top of her. Shadow saw this and widened his eyes. They stayed quiet for a minute until Sonic walked in.

"Hey guys, time for...*smirks* I thought you said you didn't like her Shadow." Shadow quickly got off of her and growled at him.

"I don't. We just fell."

"Sure...just keep telling yourself that!" Sonic said as he walked away. Shadow growled at him while Bliss was blushing like crazy.

"Sorry Shadow."

"It's fine. Come on." Shadow grabbed her hand, helping her up and takes her to the dining room. They sat down and began to eat until Sonic began to speak.

"So how was your morning?"

"Shut up Faker!"

"What's with him?" Blaze asked.

"Oh I saw Shadow on..."

"Don't you dare finish that sentence or you're dead!" Sonic stopped talking and continued eating.

"So Bliss? Care to hang out with me after breakfast?" Knuckles asked.

"Sure." Bliss said. Shadow felt some slight jealousy in his heart. After breakfast, Knuckles and Bliss went into Knuckles room while Shadow was spying on them. After awhile, Silver walked towards him.

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing!" Shadow quickly said.

"Are you spying on Bliss?"

"No!"

"Then what are you doing?" Shadow was about to speak but he stopped himself. Then he said,

"None of your business!"

"You like her don't you?"

"I told you! I don't like her!" Silver crossed his arms with a small glare. Shadow finally gave up.

"Fine! I like her ok!? I...I just don't know what to do."

"Just be yourself and tell her how you feel."

"Hmm..."

"Trust me." Silver walked away while Shadow looked at Knuckles door. When he saw Bliss standing up, Shadow quickly got away from the door.

"See you later Knuckles."

"Alright." Bliss suddenly bumped into Shadow.

"Oh sorry Shadow." Before she could leave, Shadow grabbed her hand, making her look at him.

"I need to talk to you."

"What is it?"

"I've been having these strange feelings for a while now and I've never felt like this before. And I've been feeling like this when you came along. I did my best to ignore these feelings but I couldn't. So what I'm trying to say, is that...I love you Bliss." Bliss was shocked to hear this. But she felt the same way. She smiled and kissed his cheek.

"I love you too." Shadow smiled a bit and kissed her while she kissed back.

"Hah! I knew it!" Shadow pulled away and looked at Sonic.

"Get out of here Faker!"

"I knew you liked her!" Shadow growled at him. Sonic started laughing as he ran off. Bliss giggled a little as she watched.
