Shifting Sands (A WOF Fanfiction)

Introduction

Hi everybody! This is an OC book idea that I've had marinating in my head for quite a while, but I just haven't had time to write it yet, because of school and, well, life, mostly including big drama a few years back with my parents. Anyway, the story is based about 112 years after Pantalans and Pyrrhians were introduced to each other, putting it lightly. The main character's name is Scorpion, not canon, although I did take a bit of inspiration for her character from the Queen Scorpion of Darkstalker's time. So, I've had some people help me and give me ideas for this, and they definitely deserve mentioning. 

First off, my best friend since Grade Six, Trysten. Honestly, dude, I'm not completely sure that I'd still be here if it weren't for you and your stupid-ass, hilarious self. Thank you so much, for all the times I had to come over to your house to hide and you just listened as I got my frustrations out, then acted with me like nothing had ever happened, all the winters where you kept my spirits up and helped me smile, even when all those dickheads are being, well, dickheads, and for always being there for me, to listen and help. You were I huge part of this, some parts of which you may not know and most definitely will never understand ;). His account on Wattpad is SonOfAthena6, go check it out.

 Next, Alex, my other best friend. Alex, no matter what comes your way, tries to beat you down, or hurts you from deep inside, please always know that you are beautiful, unique, funny, quirky, and truly awesome. Know that I would never want you to change yourself, and you are absolutely perfect just the way you are. And I know that sounds cheesy, but it's very true. If people can't appreciate you for who you truly are, if they want to change you into what they want you to be, just don't take that. You are worth every diamond in this earth and in Pyrrhia, so if people can't see that, you don't need them.

Finally, to the people who I haven't even met in person but who have already been great inspirations to me, Thunderclanwarrior12, as well as their friend Ender2639. These are the creators of Ventus and the SwiftScales, so I owe them a huge thank-you, not only for their amazing, creative (and very scientific sounding) ideas, but also for letting me use them. I strongly advise you guys to check out Thunder's stories about Ventus, and most importantly, the SwiftScales. They are called Wings Of Fire- Dragon of Storms, Wings of Fire- Dragon of Secrets, and Wings of Fire- Dragon of Warriors. 

The creator of the Moonwings also needs a huge shoutout. xXNightStarCatXx, thank you for your awesome idea, enthusiasm about this book, and for the support! I personally love the Moonwings, and can't wait to create them in more depth.
