"Well Sasuke, it's time for a change!"
As soon as Sakura blurted those words out Sasuke froze in place. Sasuke looked at Sakura, "C-Change?" He asked with a confusion-filled expression.
Sasuke looked up to see Sakura's face filled with determination.
"Ngh!" He grunted out as Suigetu placed his arms around Sasuke's shoulder pulling him into a side hug. "Now, now, little buddy, stop sulking!" Suigetsu grinned showing off his pointed teeth.
"Yeah!" Sakura nodded her head happily. Sasuke looked at his friends, his first friends. The one who stayed with him no matter what didn't use him, and didn't mind his 'nerdy' appearance.
This made him somewhat happy. His eyes reddened and his onyx eyes glistened with tears. His cheeks flushed as he tried to contain his tears but could not hold them any longer.
Sakura and Suigetsu looked at each other with a panic-stricken expression. They wondered why their shy friend suddenly started crying.
"Why are you crying?"
"It's nothing really," Sasuke replied as he wiped his tears with his palms, "I'm just glad that you both are my friends!"

Right now, the three of them were all together, discussing Sasuke's change. On how should he be helped, how will he look?
"Umm..." Sasuke sweated nervously, "What are we going to do first?" He asked.
"Well! First, we need to remove your glasses!" Sakura replied, eyes twinkling with excitement.
Sasuke unsure of what to say stuttered.
"But I won't be able to see things properly," He replied to them, hoping they would consider it.
Suigetsu patted his back in reassurance.
"We know man, that's why instead of glasses you'll wear contact lenses!" As Suigetsu finished his words, Sakura nodded.
As the trio of friends went in search of some contacts they chatted happily about their plans. Joking and laughing, Sasuke somehow realized that he was not alone, he had someone in his life, other than his family, who would help him through the difficult times in his life.
