About Damn Time

chapter 7

Chloe's POV

It is currently 5:30 and we are all awake loading the bus so we can go on our roadtrip. well almost everyone. Beca is still asleep, and of course i am the one to go wake her up because I am the only one who can handle grumpy, morning beca. Not that I mind tho. She is fucking adorable when she is tired. And don't even get me started on that morning voice ughhh. It's so hot. I open the door to beca's bedroom to find her cuddled up in her blankets looking really peaceful and cute but I have to wake her up. I go to her side and lightly shake her shoulder "beca, becs come on you got to wake up now" she just groans in response. "Come on let's go" I say now pulling her up by her arms. Once she finally sits up I go to her dresser and grab some comfy clothes for her to wear and then throw them at her."come on hurry get dressed, we got to go" "I don't wanna" beca said in a tired voice,  stretching and laying back down again."pleaseee, for me? I promise if you wake up and get dressed you can go right back to sleep in the car" "fine, leave so I can change" "Nice try, we both know as soon as I leave you are going right back to sleep" I said with a small laugh.
"Damn,worth a shot" she said with a lazy smile rubbing her eyes and starting to stand up and pick up her clothes."

No one's POV

"Plus,its nothing I haven't seen before" the red head said  with a flirty wink.
"Yeah, whatever" beca responded, face turning red.
Beca turned around to put on her shirt and chloe couldn't help but stare. She tried pulling her eyes away from the brunette to look anywhere else, but it's like her eyes were glued to her. Beca could feel chloe's eyes on her but she decided against saying anything. "Alr let's go". Chloe flashed her signature smile and the girls joined the rest of the bellas outside. They were all barely getting in the bus and they decided that Amy would be taking the first shift at driving.

Chloe pulls the still very sleepy beca in to a seat rather quickly, to avoid maya from trying to sit with her. Beca lays her head on chloe's shoulder and they both decide to get some sleep.

No one's POV

After about an hour and a half of a nap chloe   woke up and decided to watch some netflix and about 10 minutes later beca woke up.
"I'm hungry " beca said stretching.
Chloe rolled her eyes and smiled "were gonna stop in a little while"

About 15 minutes later they stopped at a gas station to use the restroom, refill the gas tank and stretch their legs. And of course beca being beca , came out with a bag full of snacks.
It was beca's turn to drive so Amy moved to the back of the bus by jessica and ashley  and beca sat in the drivers seat
"Don't kill us short stack" Amy said handing over the keys
"No promises " beca responded with a joking smile starting the car. And Aubrey gave her a look through the mirror that said "not funny ".

Chloe's POV

Beca has been driving for a little over 15 minutes now so I have been chatting with Stacie. I was in the middle of listening to one of her "He's a hunter.." stories with Amy  when in the corner of my eye I see maya going up to sit next to beca.
"Hi" maya said flashing a sweet and flirty smile.
"Oh. hey what's up" she  said still focusing on not crashing.
"Nothing much, you just looked lonely so I thought I would come keep you company" maya said making beca laugh.
"Oh why thank you, how thoughtful" beca said in a weird accent making maya laugh. While she was laughing she touched beca's thigh obviously flirting and that was enough to send me over the edge. I stood up fuming and triumphantly started walking to the front of the bus. Despite how confident I'm walking I have  no idea what I'm going to do when i get there, confess my love for beca? punch maya in the face? both ? I have no idea and I'm only six steps away with no signs of stopping. Hopefully this goes well.
