(Final) Chapter 16

NO ONE'S POV

The bellas did a good job of keeping Maya away from beca throughout the rest of the day, and chloe and beca were laughing and hanging out like before.

After they left the waterpark all the girls went back to their hotel rooms to rest.

Chloe and Beca were now sitting on beca's bed, in their comfortable clothes, watching mean girls.

Beca could tell something has been on chloe's mind all day and she figured this would be as good a time as ever to figure it out.

"This movie stinks" beca said trying to get chloe's attention.

"Yeah" chloe said in agreement, obviously zoned out.

"Ok that's it" beca said now turning off the tv and moving to face chloe. "This is one of your favorite movies and you aren't even paying attention, what are you thinking about?" beca said both curious and concerned.

CHLOE'S POV

Oh shit. This is it. This is my chance. I have to tell her right now. Fuck. How do you tell your bestfriend that you are in love with her??? Shit she is staring at me I have to say something.
"Uhm.."
wow ok that's obviously not working.

NO ONE'S POV

Before chloe realized it she was staring at beca's lips. She quickly leaned in and was met with an "Ouch" and a pain on her head.

This should have been their perfect moment where their lips met and they knew exactly how the other person felt, but unfortunately for chloe, her aim was extremely off and she ended up smashing their foreheads together.

"Omg, are you okay?" Chloe said covering her face and falling back onto the bed in embarrassment.

"What was that?" Beca said with laugh.

"Nothing" chloe said still covering her bright red face.

"Were you trying to kiss me?" Beca said with a growing smile

"No."

"Oh,so you were trying to headbutt me ?" Beca said reaching her hand out to chloe and pulling her up"

"Yes, no! I really like you and I have for a really long time but I didn't know how you would react or how you felt so I didn't want to risk it but then-" chloe's rambling was cut off by beca leaning in and crashing their lips together.

As soon as they kissed both girls instantly felt electricity course through their bodies.

Beca's hand softly rested on chloe's cheek, and Chloe's hand moved to beca's waist. They kissed for a few minutes and then reluctantly pulled away for air.

"Wow" chloe said breathless.

"I know right. I wish you would have slammed our heads together sooner" beca said with a cheeky grin.

"Shut up" chloe said with a slight laugh, grabbing beca's face to bring her into another kiss.

As it started to get more heated beca moved to straddle the taller girl, pushing her down so she was laying on the bed. Their lips fit perfectly together and moved in sync. Beca's hand was tangled in Chloes auburn locks as she began to kiss down her neck,and chloe's hands were slowly making their way up the brunette's shirt. Neither of them wanted their moment to end but a few seconds later there was a knock at the door.

"Hey, guys we are all meeting in Amy's room to decide on dinner"

Beca moved from chloe's neck to look at her.

"Oh-Okay we will be there in a second" chloe said slightly flustered.

Once they heard the footsteps walking away chloe turned to face beca and sighed not wanting to go.

"Come on, let's go show them our new head injuries" beca said with smirk, now getting up.

"I'm never living that down am I?"

"Absolutely not"

The girls fixed their hair and adjusted their clothing before walking down the hallway to Amy and Cynthia's room.

The walk was silent, but not uncomfortable silence, they were just both processing what had happened.

Just as they were a few feet from the room beca spoke up.

"I don't want to make you uncomfortable or take things to fast, but,um. Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

Chloe was overjoyed. After everything She had finally gotten the girl of her dreams, and man was it worth it. She felt like dancing and skipping, and crying tears of joy, a lot of them. But she thought that she had embarrassed herself enough for the day so she went with what she thought was a cooler reaction.

"I'd be okay with that" chloe said with a small smirk and a blush.

"Yeah?"
"Yeah." The redhead said leaning in slower this time, to kiss beca.

"I thought I heard you guys out her- OH MY GOD it's happening!" Stacie said swinging the door open so all the bellas could see.

Beca had her hands on chloe's waist and chloe had her hands wrapped around beca's neck, both blushing furiously.

The sight was met with cheers, clapping, aww's, and one sentence from Chloe's blonde bestfriend that everyone agreed with.

"About damn time."
