Some things took a turn for the best and the worse after Lillian's death.
1 year later...
For the best:
Alessia, Jillian, Karen, and Marcus won awards and accolades for excellence and persistence throughout their jobs, and
Derek's children got good grades in their school work and exams. For the worse:
Darryl had fallen in a deep depression when Lillian died.

After Lillian died, the position for CEO was vacant. Darryl reassumed the position as CEO. Over time, his wife Sarah noticed drastic changes in Darryl. He started sleeping more, sometimes being late for work, eating and drinking less, sometimes he wants to be away from people, moving less, always in pain. So she searched to learn more. The internet said it could be depression or that the person was dying. This made her very paranoid. She decided to question him about it later that night.
"Darryl, honey? I have a question."
"Yes?"
"Have you thought of re retiring from the company?"
"No, why?"
"I just think you should. I mean its not healthy for a 94 year old to working 15 hours a day!"
"Don't be nonsensical! I will be fine!" Darryl says before kissing Sarah.September 25th, 2090.
1 week later, Darryl left a meeting. He stepped in the elevator. As the elevator started moving, Darryl dropped dead where he stood.
As the elevator opened, everyone stared in horror as Darryl just laid there. At Darryl's home, Sarah was cooking dinner when they called her about Darryl's death. She called the quadruplets and Sharona, and she called her adopted daughter Lillianna to take care of the triplets.
And she sped down the road to the D.M.Z.
to see her husband. And as she reached there she saw Darryl's body laying in the elevator.
Everyone saw Darryl's wife and were devestated and were trying to console her.
She kept saying, "I told him to re retire. He said that everything was fine."Darryl Martin Zonnicle
