"Until we meet again." He said. He teleported away
"Retreating?" I said
"No! They got what they need" Diane said worryingly
"It can't be." Phoebe said
"We need to find them immediately!" I said
We ran to the shrine to see what will happen. On the way there, we saw Luke flying towards us.
"Milady, we we're worried about the town, half of the population is weak and we can't handle the big number anymore!" He said worriedly
"Help us find the root of this problem." Diane said
He come with us. We reached the place in no time. We entered the main hall and we saw the statue glow bright. It glowed brighter and brighter. The light disappeared, revealing Nymphida, the goddess of Faixes.
"Diane, you have failed to defend the village. You must pay." The goddess said
"Milady, before you do that, give me a chance to retrieve the stolen orb." Diane said
"Hurry! before I change my mind." Nymphida said
Diane raised her hands and she placed it on her forehead. A dark portal appear on the staircase. Madame X came out. It looks like Diane called her using her Telepathy to ask help.
"What's the problem?" Madame X said
"I'll tell you later. Will you search for Eclipse?" Diane said
"Eclipse? Hmmm....."
"Hurry!"
"Wait, Eclipse? Eclipse?! You mean the legendary dragon?!" Madame X exclaimed
"Yeah."
The elder of darkness' eyes turned green. She chanted a spell and a portal is starting to open. Madame X held Diane's hand and Flint held Scarlet's hand because they are still weak. When we were about to jump in, Nymphida blasted an attack.
"No fairy people will enter ANY dark portals!" She said
"But if We don't do this, we can't get back the orb." Diane said
"Bring them here!" Nymphida commanded
"If we failed to come back, suck the power of the town. Including mine!" She courageously said
She said nothing. We jumped in the portal. The elders jumped first then Scarlet and Flint went second and lastly, I and Phoebe, jumped in just in time the portal closed. The place was quite dark. I saw a light coming from far away. It looks like a little, white dot when you look at our position. I became curious about that light so I asked Madame X about that.
"Where does that light from?" I said while pointing at that light
"Its from an old town. Everybody, except for the townspeople, is forbidden to enter" she replied
We walked through the path straight ahead us. As we go deeper and deeper, it's becoming darker and darker. I make a Light Ball to illuminate the place. Flint ignited his fists for extra light. We found caves. Three caves to be exact. I became confused on the caves so I asked Madame X again.
"What are these?" I asked
"Caves. Two leading to a dead end with sleeping monsters and one leading to the right path." She explained
"Where's the right one?" I asked curiously
"Actually, I already forget it." She said
"Let's split up! Diane, Madame X, go to the first one. Flint, Scarlet, go to the second. We will go to the third. If you fall to a dead end, go back here. If two came back it means that the one left out is on the right path." I explained and commanded
Everyone nodded. We went to the place I assigned. We walked few meters away from the entrance when I heard a sound coming inside.
"Wait, Phoebe! Do you hear that?" I asked
"I don't hear anything."
A silhouette appeared from there. They are men and they are four. I grabbed Phoebe's hand and we hid to a small opening between the walls. The four passed by with their fists all lit up. I think for dual purposes, a light and an attack. Inches away from them, I quickly ran.
"Blaine" Phoebe shouted
The four men looked back and blasted Fire Balls to us. Phoebe quickly stood up and used a Protection Spell. Two attacked me with Fire Punches, countering it with my Fairy Daggers. A ranged combat for Phoebe and the other two. The first man stretched his arms. I crossed my arms to block it. The second tried to punch me at the back but I quickly ducked, hitting the one in front of me. I spin around and I thrust his stomach, killing him. The other one stood up. I formed a ball with a Blinding light between my hands and shoot him with it. The attack flew him at the place where Phoebe is battling. I ran and help Phoebe up.
