Chapter 10 Telling Him

I opened my eyes to see I'm staring at a ceiling and hard ground underneath me I looked around to tsume looking out a window and everybody else was not here but for him, I tried to sit up but my stomach hurt like I was hit by a truck. I whimpered causing tsume to turn towards me "don't move alot, the others went to look for stuff" I nodded and laid back on the ground, "what happened when I passed out?" He didn't look at me but said "we left that building after your 'heroic' actions and kiba brought you here to rest" I looked around to see that we're in a crumbling building. I tried to sit up but a sharp pain from stomach prevented me I hissed in pain and tsume heard me, he looked over at me and said "you shouldn't move yet not unless you want to damage yourself more, be my guest" and looked back or the window, I frowned and sticked my tongue out at him "meany" he chuckled.

By the time kiba and the rest got back it was dark outside with stars showing in the dark night, I was just lying on the floor looking up at the stars thinking of a million things in my head like 'why are the stars different colors when the sun is orange?' 'Why is it always cold even in the middle of spring?' I was not even paying any attention to the outside world that I didn't even know that toboe asked me a question until he was in my face waving his hands in front of me, "kiba I think something happened, she's not responding to my question?" I blinked twice to wash away the trillion-billion question I was thinking of in like 0.1 seconds a time. "Oh hey you guys, when did you get here cause I had a million questions in my head" toboe stood by my side and not in face anymore "we were worried about you, I thought you wouldn't wake up" kiba walked over and did the unexpected. He hugged me and said "I'm glad you are awake"! Everyone gasped so did I never would I expect him to be happy that I'm awake less alone hug me, i didn't know what to do I looked at the others and they had the same expression as me. He finally let go and stepping away from me and went over to the window acting nothing happened between us, I tried to stand up but my arms felt weak. Toboe noticed "wait your not suppose to moving around yet!" He walked over and tried to make me lay down but I stopped him "no I'm not weak and I'll not be looked at as weak by anybody, that's all people did, always looking at me as weak and helpless and I'm not, I want to be strong and help you guys out!!" Everyone was looking at me, I proceeded to try to stand I was feeling dizzy but I pushed through it by the time I was fully standing I felt extremely dizzy but I didn't care I want to show them I'm brave and strong. I looked at them and they were amazed except for tsume but I know deep inside he's amazed, I breathed in and walked over to the window by kiba he stepped aside and said "take your time don't rush yourself, don't want you hurting yourself" (awww kiba) i smiled at him and walked slowly and steadily so my legs can adjust to be working again after however long i slept for, I finally walked to the window and put my hands down on the windowsill for balance. I turned around a saw that everyone was behind me with worried faces even tsume the big and bad, emotionless person actually had emotions  I said "I'm okay really guys, no need to worry that much" hige shook his head and said "but we do, you saved kiba from that guy and you singly handed the other by shifting into a wolf!!!!" "Hige is right if it wasn't for you we all could have died, and they would have done something to you!!" Toboe said, tsume w alked up to me and said "thank you maia" I gasped and looked up to him (maia is small compared to tsume but is almost toboe or hige's height) tsume and everyone wrapped their arms around me in a hug(aww tsume is a big softy) I felt sad and I started to cry while wrapping my arms around someone, after the hug feast I walked over to the entrance and looked at the snow that was falling softly I stuck my hand out to catch one feeling the slight chilly air between my fingers.
