~Three Years Earlier~
I'm running to my classroom as the last bell goes. I cannot be late now! I'll get detention! Then mum will ask me why I was late the other times. I was panicking while running so I didn't see the person walking the opposite way as me until I ran straight into him.
"Oh my god!" I screamed "I am so sorry!" as I helped him up he just looked at me then down to my feet. When he didn't answer I started running to class again. As the last bell went I reached the door. Yes! God yes I made it!
"Amelia! Over here!" yelled Emma, my best friend. I walked to her and gave her a hug. As I did I sighed in relief as I had made it to class just on time.
"Hey Em," I said.
As the class started the door opened and someone walked in. I gasped. Everyone heard and looked at me.
"Amelia? What's up?" Emma questioned.
"I was running to class and I ran into him and I helped him up but I didn't give him a chance to say anything and I just ran off" I replied embarrassed.
"Oh" was all she said.
As the boy walked to his seat I made eye contact with him, he just smiled. I sunk back down into my seat. As the class started back up I could feel eyes staring into my head. When I couldn't take it anymore I turned around and saw that the kid was staring at me. I just glared at him until the teacher called out my name.
"Amelia! What is so interesting at the back of the class that you can't look at the front?" she asked
"Oh, it's nothing" I quickly responded, but as soon as she turned back around to the board I looked at the boy glared at him. He just laughed.
"That is it! Amelia! Get out of my classroom." The teacher yelled.
"But..." I was cut off.
"Out!" she yelled.
As I stood up I felt all eyes on me. I stormed out of the classroom and down the hall to my locker. I opened it and took out my writing book and went back to the outside of my classroom. I was there for about ten minutes when I heard the door open, I looked up and saw Miss Oliver.
"Get up!" she said clearly annoyed.
So I stood up.
"Why were you laughing in MY class?!" she spoke.
"That wasn't me... it was that kid at the back he was staring at me and I glared at him so he laughed," I said annoyed.
"And I am supposed to believe you? After all, you have done; coming late, ditching, throwing paper to the front of the class and not paying any attention, and being disrespectful?" she looked at me waiting for an answer.
Yes, all the things she told me I did, I really did do, but she deserved it. She is such a bad teacher and I wanted to make the class better or... just leave. She did not have ANY right to do that in front of the whole class. She wasn't even looking at me!
"It wasn't me!" I yelled and then I stormed off.
"Amelia Delph-nose! Get back here I am not done talking to you!" she yelled at me.
"But I'm done listening to you!" I said walking away.
I walked to my locker and grabbed my bag. I was far from happy with her, I hated it when the teachers call me by my last name. as I was walking to the exit I remembered that I hadn't brought my books with me when I got kicked out. UGH. I stopped at the door, looked in for about three seconds then stormed in and walked to my table to grab my books. I grabbed them then stuffed them in my bag. I walked out
"Amelia why..." Miss Oliver was cut off when I slammed the door shut and made my way to the exit.
