Running from my Stalker

I was woken by someone shaking me gently. My eyes fluttered open and I looked up,

"Morning beautiful," said a familiar voice.

"Morning Jackie" I smiled. He leaned down and gave me a peck on the lips.

"We have school today you gotta get up" he smiled

"Ugh okay" I sulked

He chuckled and walked away. I got up and went downstairs I saw eggs and bacon on the table and I lit up.

"Aww babe you didn't have to"

"I know but I wanted to"

I walked down and sat down and started to eat. We were sat for 5 minutes when I heard my phone ring. I must have left it downstairs last night I searched for it and found it under my jacket. Mum was calling me, I answered.

"Where are you!" yelled mum

"With Jackson," I said back

"Get home this instant Amelia Rachel Delph-nose!" mum said

"NO! Did you even hear yourself last night! You said you weren't that drunk so you must remember!" I yelled

"Amelia..." she started

I hung up the phone before she could continue. My face felt hot and wet, I had realised I had been crying. Jackson got up from where he was sitting and came over and gave me a long hug. I just stared at the ground, I had stopped crying 5 minutes after Jackson and I had moved to the couch.

"I'm going to get ready for school," I said wiping the tears from my eyes.

"Okay baby," Jackson said

I got up from the couch and went up to our room. I grabbed a pair of ripped black jeans and a grey cropped top and grey combat boots. I braided my hair into a ponytail and put on some brown eyeshadow and mascara and some lip gloss. I looked into the mirror and then decided I was ready for school, I walked out of the bathroom to see Jackson getting changed to. He put on some grey-greenish jeans and a long white top. I walked over to him and gave him a hug.

"You ready?" I asked

"Yes, are you?" he replied

"Mmhmm," I said

We walked downstairs hand in hand and out the door. As we got down to the foyer I made eye contact with Logan and gave him a small nod, telling him I will meet him. I kept walking with Jackson until we got to his car I hopped in and was soon followed by Jackson, he looked at me and he had the biggest smile on his face. He opened all the windows and turned the car on when we were on the road he turned the music up really loud and we were singing along and then he put the roof down I just stared in awe,

"This is great!" I yelled

"Yeah!" he yelled back

We were driving along a highway it took us about 20 minutes to get to school. We turned down the volume when we pulled onto the street of school. I looked at the time; 10:00.

"Oops seems like we are an hour late," I said not caring at all and giggling he chuckled to himself and we got out of the car. I went to my locker and saw that I had English now, I got my stuff and Jackson got his stuff and we walked to the room and soon was "welcomed" I groaned to myself.

"Amelia you are late. Did you get up to some mischief last night?" she said laughing and there was some snickering that could be heard from the rest of the class. I glared at Emma.

"Emma! Class quiet down!" yelled the teacher "I will have a word with you two in a moment, class get back to work."

The teacher walked us outside

"Why are you so late?" asked the teacher

"I... I moved out of the home. My mum was in a terrible state" I started looking at the floor.

"And is this true Mr Opal?" said the teacher with a raised eyebrow

"Ye...yes sir she moved in with me in my apartment because of home issues." Replied Jackson

"Okay, get in," said the teacher sternly

We walked back in, there were all eyes on us as we walked in, Emma looked at us with the biggest smile on her face I just gave her a sarcastic smile back. Jackson and I went to the back and listened to the rest of the class.
