KATE MOORE~
Zero, TJ, Destrey and I sit in the basement of my new home. I take a bite of my pizza.
"I'm bored" I mutter.
"Me too" Zero agrees, grabbing another piece of pizza.
"Let's play truth or dare!!" TJ yells.
"Can you not yell?" Destrey asks sarcastically.
"Let's play truth or dare!" TJ whispers mockingly.
"Better" Destrey smiles.
"Sure" I shrug.
"Destrey truth or dare?" Zero asks.
"Dare" he replies.
"I dare you to call Michelle Fall and call her a ratchet whore" Zero laughs.
Destrey grabs his iPhone and I give him Michelle's phone number.
"Hello?" she answers.
"Um, hi. I would just like to inform you that you are a ratchet whore" Destrey says holding back a laugh.
"What the fuck!!" she screeches through the phone.
Destrey hangs up, and we all burst out laughing.
"Kate truth or dare?" Destrey asks.
"Truth" I shrug.
"You suck" Zero mutters.
"What's you're best talent?" Destrey asks, ignoring Zero.
"Um, I used to sing... like a long time ago... so I probably can't anymore" I reply nervously.
"I thought you said you didn't sing" Zero questions.
"I don't sing informer of people" I tell him.
"Oh" he mutters.
"Will you sing for us?" TJ asks.
"No thank you" I reply quickly.
"Sing! Sing! Sing!" the three boys chant.
"Please no" I say shaking my head.
"Please?" TJ asks.
"Pretty please" Destrey asks.
"Ugh, fine" I mumble grabbing my phone and playing a song.
"I heard a knock upon my door the other day, I open it to find death staring in my face. The fear of mortal stalking still reverberates, everywhere I go I drag this coffin just in case.
My body's trembling, sent shivers shivers down my spine. The adrenalin kicks in, shifts into overdrive.
Your secrets keep you safe you're lies keep you alive. Snake eyes every single time you roll a crooked dice.
I felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down. The kind of dark that haunts a hundred year old house. I wrestled with my thoughts, I shook the hand of doubt. Running from my past I'm praying feet don't fail me now.
I've lost my god damn mind, it happens all the time. I can't believe I'm actually meant to be here trying to consume the drug in me is you, and I'm so high on misery, can't you see?

I've lost myself, you try to reach me but you just can't help me. So long. Goodbye you tried to save me it won't work this time.
Cause now
I've lost my fucking mind, and there's no fucking time. I can't believe I'm actually meant to be here, trying to consume the drug in me is you. And I'm so high on misery. Can't you see?
Oh can't you see?
Can't you see?" I finish singing and look at the guys.
"Fuck" Zero mutters.
"I haven't sung in front of anyone in a long time so if it was bad I'm sorry!" I quickly say.
"You are really good!" TJ smiles.
I say thanks and Destrey blurts out, "Do you want to join our band?"
"What?" I ask shocked.
"Do you want to join our band?" he repeats.
