“Hit me” I ordered the bartender. My third shot was coming up. I needed to blow off some steam after the crap with Brian. That he actually had the nerve to ask something like that. Now he wanted to be friends, after three years. He couldn’t have stood up for our so called friendship back then? Why the hell was it so important to him now, why after three years when I am finally content with life to the fullest? Are his intentions to ruin everything again, to crumble my heart into pieces or just making me feel miserable? I just didn’t nor could I deal with him again, he was a prick. It’s probably all the black hair-dye that’s gone to his brain during the years, ruining the last brain cells he had.

The cute bartender smiled lightly at me as he slid the shot glass over and I handed him over the money for the three shots. I grabbed the glass and quickly gulped the burning liquid down, exhaling loudly as I felt the hot sensation in my throat.

“Going all in tonight?” Johnny asked as he appeared out of nowhere next to me. I just shook my head and laughed as I looked at him.

“Yup, why the hell not?”

He chuckled. “Well then I’m in.” He ordered some tequila from the bartender along with two beers for the both of us. Kyle as I later on noticed from the nametag was the bartenders name, he served us our drinks and we sat down on the stools next to the bar. It was still pretty crowded but we’d been here for two and a half hours so people had started leaving a while ago.

As I took a sip of the tequila I cursed under my breath. I couldn’t get Brian’s logic or how the hell he was thinking at all; he’s really turned dumber since I left.

“Fucking piece of shit” I grumbled as I took a swig of my beer.

“So what the fuck happened with you and Brian before?” I gave Johnny a look as he asked that. How the hell did know something happened between us.

“What makes you think something did?”

“Because he’s looking fucking tragic and like a lost puppy while you’re gulping down shots faster than the bartender is pouring them”

“Oh you mean that. He just thought it’d be a good idea that we’d be friends again since I would hang with y’all so much” I replied with a pitiful laugh then taking a big gulp of my beer.

All Johnny said was a very “thoughtful” hmm as he took as swig of his beer than quickly gulped down one of his tequila shots. We sat at the bar for ten minutes in silence. Johnny kept stealing glances of me and I did the same with him, I just couldn’t help but to wonder what was going on in that midget-mind of his. Yes, midget-mind was just too awesome to not- not call his head.

“Maybe it’d be a good idea” he lazily replied after a while and I snorted, looking at him in disbelief.

I shook my head, “In what fucking universe would that be a good idea?”

He placed his beer bottle down on the counter and turned his whole body to me, looking like he actually was pretty serious about that.

“I mean think about it. The whole group was shocked after we found out what ‘Bitchelle’ forced Brian to do.” I couldn’t help but to snort as soon as the word ‘Bitchelle’ came out of his mouth. “Yes I said Bitchelle, never liked her in the first place but back on the topic. It’s just going to be so much tension and awkward with all of us being in the same place, doing the same things. Why not at least be civil towards each other? You don’t have to fucking fall madly in love with each other just not act like bitches on their periods towards each other.”

“You know what you are pretty smart when you drink Johnny-boy” I complimented him with a sarcastic tone underlying in my voice. Of course I didn’t mean it. He had to be pretty stupid believing that me and Brian being friends again would be a good thing.
