"Where's Max?"

Eventually,David arrived at the counselors' cabin. He gently placed Max down on his bed. To non of his surprise,Gwen was in the room reading her Fashion magazines "What is the little sh*t doing here?"David thought of a reply that would let her know what happened while also not letting her panic."Well, I found Man hiding in the forest when I was walking by so I thought he was trying to escape." "This early?"asked Gwen." Yes, and so when I went to confront him and bring him back he started having a panic attack then passed out. So I brought him here." " Looks like your having an eventful morning" Gwen commented. 'OH MY GOSH. Does she know about this morning! Well best to not say anything about it incase she actually didn't know' thought David.
"Anyway, Gwen could you please watch over the campers while I make sure Max is ok?" "Sure David , just don't take too long . I can't keep this camp under control forever"said Gwen."Okay bye"

Once Gwen left, David say besides Max on the large bed. He had a feeling something was wrong with his favorite camper, that he should check and make sure the 10 year old was okay. David contemplated removing Max's hoodie, just to be safe. Eventually,he decided against it,know if he was wrong Max would hate David already more then he does. 'If something was wrong, he would surely tell me...right?'. He hoped the curly haired kid would wake up soon, or he just might end up losing his mind.

Gwen was doing surprisingly great. She decided to take all the kids swimming in the lake. She rested on a long log pulling out and reading her fashion magazines. While doing this, she made sure Spacekid didn't drown. They really can't afford to loose another kid.
Not even finishing the 1st few pages, two preteen children came up to her, one with blue-ish green pigtails,the other having long brown hair that was styled upwards. She let out a long sigh until she asked " what? I'm kinda busy?!"
"Where is Max?"

Gwen was unsure of what to say.She didn't want the kids to worry so she had to come up with a good excuse. "Oh yeah ,Max is fine. He just refused to join everyone in the so David is stay with him so he won't run away again". ' Damn it Gwen, is that really ur best excuse.Yeah he can't swim but to hang out with David?'.
"See Neil,I told you Max is fine! Now let's swimmmmmm"
"Well Okay."said Neil.
The two children walked away to go join the others in the lake. Gwen sighed, getting back to reading her magazine. She occasionally glanced at Space kid to make sure he wasn't dying, or dead.
