Cap's Daughter 2: Ace's Return

I'm Skylar Rogers

I scrambled around in the dumpster, trying to be invisible. Just as I went out of sight of anything, Peter's head popped up over the edge. I smiled to myself. I've been watching him for months now and he likes MJ, so it doesn't matter if he still loves me anymore.

I flew above him and he looked right at me. I stopped where I was and he shook his head and went to his apartment. I slipped in right before the door shut and followed him to his room.

He opened a suitcase and started packing for Venice. May walked in a threw a banana at him and hit him in the face.

"So, you can dodge bullets, but not bananas?" She tilted her head. "I thought you could sense that with your... Peter Tingle?"

I couldn't stop the laugh that came out of my mouth and they looked towards my general area. I came out of my invisibility to a shocked Peter and May.

"So, how's the weather?" I leaned against the wall.

"S-Sky?" Peter's eyes got red and puffy.

"Hey." I smiled as he ran to me and picked me up before setting me down and going to kiss me. I turned my head and he looked hurt. "Listen, I know you like MJ. As your best friend, I want you to go to her."

"But, Sky, I-"

"I'm sorry, Peter." I bit my lip.

"Wow." May said, with her arms crossed. "Even I saw that coming. Guess your Peter Tingle isn't so good after all."

"Can you stop saying tingle, May?" Peter whined as she walked out.

"See you soon, Peter." He turned back to me and I jumped out of the window.

I wiped my tears, walking into SHIELD. "Woah, woah, woah, stop right there." Daisy stopped me before I could get to Fury. "What's wrong?"

"H-he saw me, so I-I had to end it or, or Fury wouldn't let me do this anymore." I cried into her arms.

"Is there anything I can do?" She rubbed my back.

"There is one thing." I pulled away and told her.

"Who is knocking on my d- Sky?"

"Hey Happy." I smiled.

"Sky!?" He hugged me and picked me up. "You're alive!"

"How are you, Happy?" I looked into his eyes.

"It's been hard, it has, and it wasn't the same without either of you." He shook his head.

"It's kind of has been weird without Tony grabbing Peter's shoulder all the time and getting to be his errand getter." I smiled sadly.

"I want you to meet someone." Happy said.

We strolled through the house and I noticed a picture of Tony and Peter on the wall from when Peter got the internship. I remember how excited he was when he came home from Germany. I was lost in my thoughts when I saw a little girl run down the stairs.

"Oh my gosh! Hi!" I squealed as she grabbed Happy's leg and hid behind him. "I'm Skylar Rogers."

"Nice to meet you, Skylar Rogers, I'm Morgan Stark." I looked up at Happy and smiled really big.

"Well, Morgan Stark, we are like cousins." I squatted down to her level. "Does that sound good?"

"Yea." She came out from behind Happy and wrapped her arms around my neck.

I squeezed her tight and swung her side to side. "I promise to take care of her." I looked up in the sky for Tony to know I was talking to him. "Well, I have to get back to Fury. He'll be looking for me."

"Thank you for the visit, Sky." Happy smiled as I hugged him.

"See you later, Morgan." I smiled, walking out.

"You're going to Venice." Fury said as soon as the door opened.

"I can't spy on Peter, he'll know." I shook my head.

"You're not spying." Fury pulled up a hologram. "This is a water elemental."

There was a video of a guy with a fishbowl on his head. He was fighting a huge monster made out of water.

"So, what's this guy's name?" I asked.

"They're calling him Mysterio." Fury turned the video off and crossed his arms.

"It's an attack like the Sandman from 2004." He said. "Apparently, Mysterio has already defeated the storm elemental and the earth one. We're meeting up with him and Parker to defeat the fire elemental. You have a suit in the basement. Get Daisy to bring you down there."

"Okay." I nodded my head.

I found Daisy and we went downstairs to find my suit. It was full black and it had a holster on it. I put it on and Daisy and I went to the weapons. I had a dagger, a pistol, and some grenades.

"So, what's the point of the black." I asked. "I wanted it to be red with maybe a bit of black and some-"

"Skylar." Fury warned and I shut up.
