"What have I done..." I said to myself.

The bright light faded away and I saw Marina who was laid out on the floor.

"Marina!" Maria exclaimed.

I saw Maria rush over to Marina and I went with her, despite being exhausted in using nearly all of my SP and Mana combined. I kneeled down and held Marina up, she was still moving and she wasn't psychically hurt. Looks like my special skill worked as intended.

"Marina, are you alright?" I asked.

"Y/N...how did you..." She answered, weakly. "...why do you have...so much power?"

"I'm sorry if I went too far...but I had to do whatever I could to stop you."

"Y/N, I'm analyzing her A.I now, she's become too weak to maintain both controls." Maria said. "I'll be able regain full control of the Fraxinus and the virtual world again. Give me some time."

"Of course, I'll keep talking to her." I looked at Marina before clearing my throat. "Marina...I can understand the feelings you have. I can also understand that you and Maria were created for a purpose, and that if you don't fulfill them, then your existence is meaningless."

She looked at me.

"But the way I see it, it's far from the truth. As you have seen and felt, I've given a lot of time and effort to Maria, to help her find the meaning of love and what it really is. While it's clear that you and her may never find the answer, she has learnt so much since I and everyone in my harem got stuck in this world."

"Y/N is right." Maria nodded as she sat next to me. "I was able to date him. Everyone accepted me. Fun, happiness, sadness. Y/N showed me the true meaning of these experiences. Ah, wait...that's right. Y/N, I've already learnt what love is."

She smiled at me. "My heart flutters when I think of you. I wish to cherish you and to be cherished by me when we're alone together. To be able to spend my life with you by your side...that is love."

"Maria..."

"So...that's what love is..." Marina said quietly before her eyes began to water. "...if I had known this since the beginning..."

"You wouldn't have tried to destroy both worlds." I finished for her. "But it's not gonna happen now, cause it's over."

"Hic...Y/N...I'm sorry!" She then hugged me tight. "I was so jealous of Maria getting all of your time and care, that I wanted to stop it all and destroy everything! But I couldn't because she had control over the virtual world."

"Marina..." Maria said as tears came from her eyes. "...you should've said...I would've understand..."

Seeing both of them cry, it was hard for me not to tear up. But then, I nearly forgot about the confession, I need to seal away Marina's powers before I get a critical decision coming.

"Marina...can I confess to you?" I asked her. "Because I need to seal your power if you want to be saved."

"Hic...go on...tell me how you feel about me." She replied looking into my eyes.

"I love you, Marina. I love Maria and everyone that's in my harem, they are all precious to me and everyday I spend with them is a blessing. It would mean so much to me if you and Maria can be apart of it. I swear to you, I will make you feel happy, loved and you'll never be alone again."
