The moment I got up the next morning, I was in a state of worry.

As I got myself changed and ready for another school day, I received a call from an earpiece that was on the table. Oh yeah, that's what Shido used in order to get help and advice from Kotori when he was going on dates. Well, I'm not sure if I need it, but if I don't take it, Kotori would most likely get mad. Better take it with me, just in case.

I put it in my left ear and answered the call. "Hello, Kotori?"

"Finally, Y/N! You're late!" She exclaimed.

"I'm late? What time is it?" I responded.

"Doesn't matter! Get to the school right now, we have a big problem! It's Tohka! Reine says that her powers are going haywire!"

Crap...but it had to happen in order for this plan to work...but I swear, I will make it up to her.

"Alright, I'm on my way now! I'll get there as fast as I can!"

"You better, just hurry!" She ended the call.

I got dressed and rushed out of the house, running all the way to the school building. Once I passed the gates though, I was able to feel a huge surge of power losing control thanks to my mana skill. I caught my breath and rushed inside, all the way to the rooftop.

"TOHKA!" I yelled before I saw her kneeling on the ground.

Uh oh, she's in her astral dress and she's got the sword out already.

"Y/N...I'm...sorry..." She said, panting.

"Don't apologize, I'll save you!"

"No! Run away!"

Just then, her sword glowed brighter and I was sensing a stronger power of magic at play. Suddenly, there was a scream and then a bright explosion. But just when I thought it was all over, that was when it happened. I could feel my consciousness acting all hazy, but I was able to see a vision of someone...it was her, Ruler...
