Chapter 9

-Terroriser POV-

     Just a few minutes ago, Evan was about to break Brock's face, but the guys were able to break it up before the situation got any worse. After that argument and awkward silence, Tyler and I head to our rooms, to avoid any more awkwardness. Now I'm here, at my desk, doing some research on Phantom for the interrogation. Why? On every interrogation, I do some researches for those who we kept hostage. You know, trying to get dirt on them, threaten, and use it against them. As for Jonathan, he tortures them with, what he calls them, 'toys'. If I don't get any info of Phantom, who knows what Jon would do to him. I don't care honestly, but what Brock said about Phantom is a kid and his parents are worried sick about him, got me thinking. If he comes home with scars and wounds all over his body, they'll call the police and I don't want to go through that again, not for what happened years ago. Anyways, the information about Phantom that I found so far is just theories. Theories about his name, parents, and his murdered victims. As I kept looking, I found a website that caught my eye. I clicked on the link and it revealed a whole article about Phantom, with a video. Just when I was about to read the article, David called out everybody for dinner. I got up from my desk and head to the kitchen. I avoid eye contact and grabbed my plate. I head back to my room, sit back down at my desk, eating my food, and reading the article.

~Little Time Skipped~

I finished reading the article, which it turns out, revealed a little bit of background about Phantom. I reread, copy, and pasted part of the article, the important parts of the article, including the theories, on an empty document, and print them out. I grabbed the papers, putting them in order and separating them into facts and theories. As it turns out, Phantom was born around the time the group split up and grew up living in the streets. As for his parents, not much said about them, but there are some possible theories about them. It could be a family business, they knew nothing about their child committing crimes, or maybe Phantom's parents abandon him when he was only an infant. As I was putting these together, I forgot about the video. I went back to my computer and played the video. This video was taken six years ago at a gas station, Xero. It started with a teenager by the cash register on her phone. Then a little kid walked in with his hood over his head, which I assume is Phantom, but his hoodie is way too big for him. The cashier notices him but doesn't question him why he's here by himself. The kid walks through the shelves looking for food, which I assume. He then stops and starts grabbing the food off the shelves, stuffing them in his hoodie. The cashier noticed and went after the kid. As the cashier went to grab the kid, he swiftly jukes the shit out of her and ran to the exit. The video stops there, luckily there's a second video, but this time it's a split-screen. One camera pointing at the door, and another pointing at the stations and road. The kid ran out the door on the first camera, but he disappeared on the second camera. Then the cashier ran after the kid through the door on the first camera, and reappeared on the second camera, looking around in confusion. My jaw dropped, sure I read and watched some weird and disturbing stuff, but, to be completely honest, this is the most fascinating thing that I've ever watched. Now I know why they call him the Phantom Thief, but I feel like I saw this before. I just don't know what, I decided to brush it off and continue researching.

~Another Little Time Skipped~

None of this information doesn't makes any sense. There are so many theories about his parents, name, and his reason to kill that is driving me crazy. I sighed in frustration and flopped down on my bed. I grabbed my phone and decided to text Tyler about Phantom.
