~2 week later~

Winter's alarm went off she got up and took it off "I should go to school today" she sighed and went to take a shower.

Winter's P.O.V

I finished my shower and put on a green plaid shirt with my black short and  black combat boots, I went downstairs and put some bread in the toaster after I went in the fridge for some milk my phone rang it was Luna I had alot of missed calls from her and Alex Text Messages from Ivy, I answered the phone.
"Hello" I said
Luna: "Look who finally decided to answer he phone after the 64th time"
"I'm sorry alright I've been busy and alot of things has been going on with me"
Luna: "It's everything alright?" She said with concern in her voice
"Yeah hey so what did u get?" I said changing the topic
Luna: "Ok don't hate me but I got Alpha"
"I don't hate u I hate male Alphas I don't have a problem with Female Alphas"
  Luna:"Ok good Bcuz if u did I wouldn't know what to do Bcuz u are like a sister to me"
"Yes I understand let's talk more in school" I hanged up the phone.

At School
I finally reach and I was tackled my Alex not a hug tackle but a foot to back tackle I fell to the ground
"Ow that hurt Alex"
Ivy: "U deserved it u had us all worried"
Alex: "Yeah how could u is everything alright u aren't hurt are u" she held out her hand for me to get up Alex and I have been friends since childhood she know everything about my family especially how my father was abusive and stuff,
"Yeah I'm alright" I grabbed her hand and got up from the ground after I got up I didn't see Luna
"Hey where is Luna"
Ivy and Alex: "With her boyfriend"
"Ew" we all laughed I saw at the corner of my eyes Ash and Damien great just great. I got a text message from Shadow he's my good friend and also the boy I like but he doesn't know it and I don't plan on confessing the message said:
'Meet me at the rooftop ASAP'
I texted back
'Got it :)' I told my friends I have to go and went to meet Shadow

Shadow's P.O.V
will it be ok to lie to her and tell her I'm a Beta when actually I'm Alpha!If I want to still be her friend? Yes Do I want her to hate me for the rest of her life? Absolutely No! Then we will go with the lie. I nodded to myself. I breathe and i felt someone tap my shoulder ok let's do this I took in a deep breathe and said
"Winter I'm a Beta "she hugged me
"Congrats and so am I" she said letting me go a slight blush grew in my face,
"Hey are u ok?" She looked at me
"Yep totally anyways what did ur parents day about u being an beta"
I looked at her and her smiling face went to sad, terrified/scared it also filled with rage.
"He killed her" her fist clenched
"Who killed who??" Tears started to leave her eyes,
"My mom was killed by my da- the fucking disgusting pig he's a disgrace he didn't deserve to be a father" I hugged her I knew she was going through trouble at her home but I didn't know it was like this I let her go
"Why did he do that?"
"Because she wasn't and Aloha can u believe that" her voice started to crack I wiped her eyes this as the first time I have ever seen her cry she always wanted to pretend she was strong I mean she is but still

After a while

"Did ur hair always covered one side of ur eye?" I asked her
"Oh umm no u see one of my eyes is blind Bcuz my dad cut it with the knife" She showed me her eye
"But it isn't white?" She tapped the back of my head
"Not all blind eyes are white silly" she laughed, her laugh is so beautiful. I was about to ask if her friends know but she cut me off saying
"My friends don't know as yet" It's like she read my mind
"U have to tell them if they are r friends they will understand"
She nodded and then smiled back
"Thx u Shadow" I'm so in love with her but I don't know if she loves me back i sighed as I closed my eyes.
"Shadow u alright" I opened my eyes to see her face close to my mine and my face turned red as I started to panick!
"Huh...Oh yeah...Uhh why won't I be" I nervously laugh she came closer to me
"U sure?"
"I LIKE CHOCOLATE" Did I say I like chocolate? She looked at me weird great way to go shadow
"Well I gotta go bye" she waved and left
"Bye" I waved smiling and as soon as the door closed
"CHOCOLATE Really 'I like chocolate'" I mocked myself as I layed down and looked at the sky I wish I can tell u the truth.
