The moon was hight in the dark sky when Bluefur lay down on what was left of her nest . She thought back to to what Sunstar had said earlier in the day:
"-We can't continue to search them . We do all we can , Bluefur , but now the time is too much hard .There is not enough prey to feed the Elders , the queens and the kits .The warriors are famished , some of them are ill ! You are deputy now. I'm sure you can understand !
- Yes , I can .Sunstar , I know that is hard for our clan , and I know that I have to help you .
- You lost so much but you are always here ... You are more faithful to your Clan then never and I would like to thank you and I want also to tell you that I'm so sorry for your kits , Bluefur .
- Thanks, Sunstar . What do you want me to do ?
- Go hunting , all the prey you can catch will be useful .
- Good ."
Then , she thought to Oakheart . She would give everything for him to be next to her , for feel his warmth...Oakheart ... Only the cold answered her. No , she can't think to him . Not now! Her clan needs her
