The next morning, Dean was standing by the car with Jenny, looking through old photos "Thanks for these,"

"Don't thank me, they're yours," Jenny said as Dean put the trunk of photos into the car.

Sitting on the front steps with Natalia on his lap, Sam was joined by Missouri. "Well, there are no spirits in there anymore, this time for sure," Missouri stated

"Not even my mom?" Sam asked

"No,"

"What happened?"

"Your mom's spirit and the poltergeist's energy, they canceled each other out. Your mom destroyed herself goin' after the thing,"

"Why would she do something like that?"

"Well, to protect her boys and granddaughter, of course," Missouri said as she smiled down at Natalia.

Sam nodded, with tears in his eyes.

Missouri goes to put her hand on Sam's shoulder, but she stops herself "Sam, I'm sorry,"

"For what?" Sam asked

"You sensed it was here, didn't you? Even when I couldn't,"

"What's happening to me?"

"I know I should have all the answers, but I don't know,"

"Sam, you ready?" Dean called out

Sam nodded and headed for the car but stopped as he felt Natalia's drawing in his pocket and handed Nat to Dean "I'll be right back,"

Dean nodded questionably and began to put Natalia in her car seat.

Sam headed back towards Missouri and showed her Natalia's drawing "Can you at least explain this?"

Missouri overlooked the picture "Kids tend to copy their parents..."

"That's what I thought as well...but my kid is two, Missouri...two. Her drawings should be of stick figures and a bunch of scribbles that she explains to me what they are and I nod along as if I can see what she drew and claim she's the next Van Gogh!"

Missouri sighed as she handed the drawing back to Sam "I'm sorry Sam...but much like your situation...I don't have the answer you seek,"
