I had to switch classes today, because a new guy came to the school, and into my class. My form teacher was all 'there are too many people' and 'we need to follow the rules!' But anyway, I met some new people. More importantly, I met a new friend.
Her name is Avery. She comes from a similar upbringing as me, minus the brain cancer obviously. She acts pretty spoiled, but she has a nice personality. She likes itchy sweaters - by the looks of it anyway. I also found out that she has a copy of "Page Numbers"!
Oh, and about reading "Page Numbers", it's amazing! It's like real life! Avery thinks the same thing, I think...
Anyway, it's like a "choose-your-own-adventure" book. You can get really engrossed in the story. The only thing that intrigues me is that it is really old. The book must have been published sometime during the last century, yet the "choose-your-own-adventure" genre was not around back then. Also, it includes all the technology and advances that we have today. It's very weird.
I was given detention today. I don't exactly know why, but the principal was really mad about it anyway. His name is Mr. Flannery. He's a mean old crab that likes to do things old-fashioned, which usually I don't mind. Hell, I'm using a typewriter to write this. But in his case, I think I'll make an exception.
I walked home this afternoon, and I passed this guy. He might've been a bit older than me, but I can't be too sure. He was talking to himself. I think he was arguing with himself. I tried not to take notice of him as I walked by, obviously not to be offensive, but I was a bit scared. After the encounter, the whole world seemed to be caving in on me. It still is now. My parents are really worried about me.
What's causing this?
