My names Luna and I just moved to Absaroka county I needed a fresh new start finishing putting my boxes into my house I decided to go up town to find a job. hoping into my jeep I finally make it to town its so beautiful here its out in the country. I park the jeep and get out to walk around I walk past the sheriffs station and see a sign saying "Deputy needed" thinking to myself

                          "ive got my degree in criminal justice."

         "what are you waiting for come on in" I look around and see an older man wearing a long coat blue jeans and boats and to top it off a cowboy hat "oh um I don't know it was just a thought"

         "nonsense ill have ruby print you a form" he said with a smile so I followed him in we walked threw the door and this older women jumped up

                  "sheriff theres been an accident some fisher men said theres a body". he stopped and looked at her and saod "okay and ruby can you get this lady a form?"

"yes sweetie come on" I was sitting down at her desk when the sheriff started to give orders

                    "Moretty and furge your coming with me" they up and left 

        "here you go my dear" she handed me a piece of paper and pen I filled it out and handed it to her "thank you miss, he'll give you a call"

'uh miss ruby where is the closes bar  

"ah you must be new to town"

"yes ma'am"               

"well heres the address and its called The Red Pony"

         "thank you" with thati walked out and headed to the bar. An older man walked up to me "what can I get you ma'am"

a shot of whiskey" he just looked at me he was handsome he wore boots, blue jeans, with a blue plaid shirt tucked in his hair was black as night comb to the side dark honey colored eyes

             "ID please?"

             "oh right" I pulled my id out and handed it over "thank you" I nodded and just sat there looking down. "well hello there beautiful "

"hi there" I said looking at the man talking to me. He looked rough and high.

"you must be new to town how bout you come on home with me and I can show you arund" he winked at me.

No im good thanks"

"hear you go ma'am" he handed me my drink I smiled at the bartender

"im being nice don't make me mean"

"and I said no thank you, what part of no did you not understand the N or the O" I said while standing up he was so much taller than me his face was turning red. 

"look here girl don't disrespect me"

"its not being disrespectful I cant help you don't know what no means"

"why I outta" he yelled when the bartender yelled at the guy to leave me alone and to leave he looked at me and walked out.  everyone was starring at me I just sat in my set and took my shot and layed my head down.

"You okay miss?"

"yeah I just moved here and I already started trouble"

"itll get better just give it time."

"thanks" after that we talked and laughed and carried on up until It was time for me to leave I hadent had anymore alcohol just water. "well it was good meeting some new and nice people but its time for me to go home I gotta unpack tomorrow I grabbed a pen and napkin wrote my number down and slide it to him.
