It's been 3 months since Dad accepted my relationship with Stevie and things have changed a lot throughout these 3 months of my life.

Dad and Lynsey got married in a private ceremony, and I was so happy for them both, but also happy to have another mother in my life.

Lynsey then gives birth to a baby boy, whom she and Dad named him Oscar and I was happy become his big sister. Meanwhile, at school, with the school prom coming up, I noticed Stevie acting suspicious around me and tries to avoid me whenever I come to him.

I suspected that he's seeing another girl behind my back and wanted to confront him. One late night, he send me a text to meet him at the Ha'penny Bridge, as we need to talk.

I took a train to the city and met him, standing further away from the bridge, next to his motorcycle. "Stevie!", I replied. "Apple, I need to talk to you.", Stevie replied. "Is this about why you've been avoiding me all week?", he asked.

"Apple, it's not what it looks like!", Stevie replied. "Really? Because it looks like you don't want to be with me anymore.", I replied. "What?", Stevie asked. "If you don't love me anymore, then just say it.", I replied.

I then started yelling at him even more, which made him laugh. "Why are you laughing?", I asked. Stevie grabbed my arms and lead me to the Ha'penny Bridge. "Stevie, let go of me! Stevie! Stevie, stop!", I cried.

Stevie pull me in front of him and wrap his arms around me. I looked up and was surprised to see what I saw. The bridge was filled with fairy lights, there was soft, romantic music playing and a big sign that says "Prom?".

Then, I realised that it's a promposal. "So this is why you've been avoiding me?", I asked. "Yep, I didn't want to ruin the surprise.", Stevie replied, as we walked up on the bridge together. "I wanted to make it special and romantic when I asked you.", Stevie replied.

"Stevie...", I sighed. "Apple, will you go to the prom with me?", Stevie asked, offering me a red rose. "Yes!", I smiled, as I took the rose in my hand. Stevie lift me up in his arms and spun me around with joy.

I let out a squeal as he did that. "I love you.", Stevie sighed. "I love you too.", I smiled, as he kisses me passionately. Stevie dropped me off home and I was in my room, admiring the rose in my hand.

The week before Prom, Lynsey takes me out shopping for a dress, shoes and accessories and after trying on many dresses in many different colours, I chose a beautiful shoulders off, blue ballgown-type dress for prom.

Lynsey bought the dress for me and we then went to look for shoes and I found beautiful shoes from Jimmy Choo, blinged with diamonds and crystals. We later shop for accessories and a clutch. That night, I wore it all to show my dad.

Dad and Lynsey were sitting on the couch in the living, while admiring Oscar. "You're ready to show me, baby girl?", Dad asked. "Yes, Dad. I'm ready.", I called out. Then, I came downstairs, and Lynsey saw me. "Oh my goodness.", Lynsey replied.

Dad looked up and he was stunned by my prom look. "Dad, isn't it beautiful?", I asked, giving him a twirl. "Yes, sweetheart. Very beautiful indeed. You look like a princess.", Dad smiled. "Not yet. She'll be a princess on prom night.", Lynsey replied, cradling Oscar in her arms.

"Do you like it, Dad?", I asked. "I love it sweetheart. You reminded me of how much of princess you are when you were young. I miss it a lot.", Dad replied. "I know you do, Dad.", I smiled, as I hugged him.

On the night of the prom, I went home from school to get ready for prom. Lynsey was at home, helping me to get ready. Lynsey, is a professional hair stylist and make up artist and helps me for this preparation, while I painted my nails.

For my hair, Lynsey starts off by curling it with a wand curler, and starts braiding half of my hair and made a rose, securing it with bobby pins and hairspray. She then added some diamond clips for final touch.

For my make up, Lynsey starts off by adding foundation and concealer on my face and then use neutral and gold eyeshadow for my eyes and later eyeliner, blush and mascara. Lastly, she apply peach-red lipgloss on my lips.

Lynsey helps me get into my dress, accessories and shoes. After an hour and a half of preparation, I was ready for the prom. Dad was in the living room, looking after Oscar when Lynsey was helping me getting ready.

Then, Stevie arrives on his motorcycle, wearing a suit with a bowtie and came into the house, and was greeted by Dad. "Ah, Stevie. Come in.", Dad replied. "Hello, Mr Dawson.", Stevie replied. "You look sharp.", Dad replied. "Thank you.". Stevie smiled.

Then, Lynsey came downstairs and took Oscar in her arms, as Dad had looked after him for a while. "Is she ready?", Dad asked. "She is. She's just want to make a grand entrance.", Lynsey replied. "Whenever you're ready, Apple.", Dad replied.

I then gracefully walked down the stairs in my beautiful dress and my Dad and Stevie were stunned of how I look. "Wow.", Stevie sighed. I smiled and Stevie came to me and held my hand as I walked down the stairs. "You look absolutely beautiful.", Stevie sighed.

"Well, you look handsome.", I smiled. "Oh, I got something for you.", Stevie replied, holding a small plastic container, which contains a blue and white corsage, which matches my dress. "Stevie, it's beautiful.", I sighed, as Stevie put it on my wrist.

Then I looked at Dad, who was smiling. "Dad, what do you think?", I asked. "You look amazing, sweetheart. You look like a princess.", Dad replied. I gave Dad a twirl and he smiles at me. Dad takes photo of Stevie and I before we head off. "Have fun, baby girl.", Dad replied, as he hugs me.

"Thanks, Dad.", I replied. Then, Stevie and I walked out of the house and got on his motorcycle. We put on our helmets and I wrap my arms around his body, as he drives off to the school prom. Dad and Lynsey were watching from the front door. "She'll be ok.", Lynsey replied. "I know she will.", Dad smiled.

At the school prom, Stevie and I had lots of fun at the prom. We danced, we grab some beverages, taking selfies and enjoying the music. At the end of the prom, Stevie took me home and dropped me off at home.

"I had fun tonight.", I replied. "Me too.", Stevie sighed. I took off my helmet and gives it back to him. "You look beautiful.", Stevie sighed. I smiled and he kisses me. "I love you, Apple.", Stevie sighed. I smiled at him. "I love you too.", I sighed.

We ended the night with a kiss and I head back inside the house, while Stevie rode back home. That night, Dad was outside watching the night sky alone, while Lynsey and Oscar are fast asleep. I came out to join him.

"Can't sleep?", I asked. Dad turned around and smiled. "Apple, how was prom?", he asked. "Amazing. Stevie and I had loads of fun.", I replied. "That's good. Sounds like you had an awesome night.", Dad replied. I sat on the steps with my dad.

"The stars look beautiful tonight.", I sighed. "They are. Your mother were so fascinated by those stars, that she wouldn't even let me close the curtains at night.", Dad replied. "I remember that. She always nags at you for closing the curtains.", I laughed.

Dad laughed at my words. "I really miss her.", I sighed. "I know you do, sweetheart. Me too.", Dad sighed. I rest my head on Dad's shoulder and Dad wrap his arm around me as we looked up at the night sky together, wondering if Mom's up there, looking at us from down below.
