Chapter 17

Dipper's POV

I knew I should've led the way. Mabel led us to a clearing and made us more lost than we already were. She was looking at the trees to try and find a clue of which direction we came from while I was sitting on a nearby rock, looking at the red sky trying to find an eye-bat flying around. The one day I don't see any flying around.

When I heard a click and a thud I turned towards Mabel to see her on the ground unconscious with Pacifica standing over her. "Why your leaving so early my Dipper?" she said spinning what looked to be like one of Ford's anti-demon guns.
"Pacifica what are you doing? And I'm not 'yours'. I love someone else." I said as I sensed Bill behind me, hiding behind the trees. Maybe she didn't notice him yet. "You mean that pathetic demon? That's funny! I wonder if he will hear you get injured." Pacifica had a crazed smile on her face while she aimed the gun at me.

Everything happened so fast. Bill teleported in front of me and took the shot for me. I layed him against the rock as I crouched down and looked over the wound. She shot him in the leg and slowly the area around the wound turned white. Bill hissed in pain then grabbed his leg and said, "Fuck a red bird sideways on Christmas, this actually hurts! And not the good kind, it won't let me heal."

Pacifica started laughing at Bill's state so he threw a fireball at her, his body wincing at the movement. She dodged it and was now on her knees laughing then said, "Haha....that bullet was laced with holy water, salt, and silver. Soon it will be the death of you! HAHAHA! Now come and help me up, Dipper."
The tips of my hair turned red at hearing her words. She can mess with me, injure me, and make my life a living hell for all I care but NOBODY can ruin my loved ones. I calm myself down and let my tips return to their normal blue as I came up with a plan. I got up and slowly walked towards her. "P-pinetree?" Bill sttudered out with a look of confusion on his face while I held out my hand. Pacifica took my hand as she got up, one hand stroking my cheek while the other still held my hand. "Now lets go my pretty little Dipper." Pacifica said smiling and still stroking my cheek.

A small smirk came to my face as I said "Well if you think I'm pretty now.....you should see me in a crown."

Before she could say anything, I made her body instantly burst into my green flames. Her screams filling the once quiet forest. When the screams died down it was replaced with Bill's light chuckles and in Pacifica's place was a pile of ashes. I went back over to Bill and dugged out the bullet in his leg. He winced at the sudden action as the bullet itself was burning me a little.

I threw away the bullet and Bill instantly started healing like normal. I picked Mabel's body up while Bill slowly started to get up. Once she was in my arms Bill teleported us to our room, leaving her ashes for the wind. I set her down on the bed and we left towards the throne room. The party was probably settling down by now. Maybe when Mabel wakes up she can help us figure out what now.
