Richie's POV
Welp here I am. In Derry main. Home sick as all hell. I look up at my new house. It looks really old. It's not bad it just looks old. I get a few boxes out of the car when I see 2 girls walk bye talking. Wait no, one guy and a girl talking. The girl is wearing a white skirt and a pastel green sweater, and they boy is wearing a baby pink skirt, a baby pink fanny pack, white vans, and a baby pink sweater. They look at me shit well here goes nothing. "Hi I'm Richard but you can call me richie." I say to him as I put my hand out. He looks up at me and then looks back down to get something out of his fanny pack? He squirts some hand sanitizer on my hand. He looks up at me and shakes my hand. "Edward, but you can call my Eddie." God his voice is beautiful. The girl looks at me and blows a bubble with her gum. "Greta" she says as she steps in front of Eddie and puts her arm out. "Richie" I say as i shake her hand. Eddie whispers something to Greta. She nods and looks up at me. "Hey there's this quarry that me and Eddie swim in all the time, and we were gonna go there right now so if you wanna join us you can." She says as she blows another bubble with her gum. "I'll go, I just have to bring like three more boxes in my room." "Ok"
She says as she looks at Eddie. "Hey Eddie is is ok if I meet you at the quarry?" She blows another bubble with her gum. "Uumm" he looks at her really awkwardly. "Kay, thank you love!" She kisses him on the cheek. "See you there!" She says as she starts walking. He looks up at me. God his eyes are like galaxies. "Um, need help?" His voice is adorable. "If you want to help you can." I grab two boxes off of the ground. "What box do you need me too carry?" He asks as I start walking. I turn around and look at him. "The one that's labeled movies!" I say as I walk inside. I hear a rattling noise and wait for him inside. He caches up to me and looks up at me as we're walking. "Were you from?" He asks. "Hawkins Indiana" I respond. "Cool, I have a cousin that lives there." I stop in my tracks. Eddie looks up at me with a confused face. "What's his name?" I asks quickly. "Will Byers, he's a total nerd." Eddie says looking at me. "Oh my god he was one of my friends there!" I respond really excitedly. He looks at me with a confused face again. "Really? Did you hang out with the rest of his loser friends? Cause if you did that's hilarious! I don't know how you could even stand that!" He looks at me as he starts to laugh. "Get out." I say calmly as I put the Boxes I was carrying down. He puts the box he was carrying down and looks up at me with a confused expression on his face again. "What?" He says to me confused. "Get out." I say again. "I'm not letting you bully my friends like that." I say calmly. But really on He inside I'm fucking pissed. My friends were amazing, and yea they could be nerds but still! "Excuse me?" He looks at me with a really sassy look on his face. He laughs and starts talking again. "You do not talk to me like that, I am the queen bee of Derry high. I am not someone you can just kick out of your house!" He says to me in a really bratty tone. I look at him with a calm look on my face that basically says get out. His mouth drops open. He looks at me and drops all my movies to the ground and then jumps on them. "What the hell!?" "This is what you get." He says calmly as he walks away. He turns to me right when he's about to leave and says, "oh and Richie?" He turns away from me and says. "From this point on your life's gonna be a living hell" He says as he walks out of the house. What the hell just happened?
