Gracefully she placed her fingers on the cold keys of piano. It's been four years since she has touched the piano, for people she has quit her career because of her situation but for her she was forced to cut out the part of her heart because of conditions she has been put into. She carefully caresses the keys of piano. She took a deep breath as if she was missing the smell of piano. She gently pressed one key and a tear rolled down through her cheek and beautifully rest on one of the key of piano she has just pressed.
She gently wipe tears off her face by the palm of her hand and again placed it on the piano. She closed her eyes and few tears again rolled down through her eyes. She starts moving her fingers gracefully on the piano keyboard giving birth to a beautiful rhythm. A sad Melody.
When I approach you it's like a dream that goes away
Where are you going?
You who lives in my heart, today I miss you.
Through the fading starlight.
I can't hide my growing feelings for you.
Love you
Love you
I will be there and won't hide anymore.
Love you
Love you.Suddenly she stopped her hands movements and opened her eyes which were already swell and was slightly red because of the tears she was forcing in but she couldn't do it anymore, she couldn't hide her feelings, her pain that she is feeling right now and for the past four years.
She took off her hands off the piano and covered the keys with fallboard, and placed her head on fallboard.Moonlight coming through the windows slightly lighten up the huge hall with empty seats except for one. Four years ago she was due to sing for thousand people who would be seating in this hall but after four years on the exact date she unintentionally sang for only one person. The person who she doesn't even know.
The feelings she has expressed through her song and her music not only bring calm to her but to him. Listening to the sad Melody has brought tears in his eyes too but those tears were happy tears. Happy tears representing how satisfied he is by her soothing voice.
She lift her head off the fallboard, her eyes were now open. Without bothering to look beside her she grabbed her white cane which was placed beside her on the piano seat and stand up. Using her stick she scan her surrounding and made it to the stairs. She carefully placed her foot on the first step, then second but on the last step, she slipped and fell down. She didn't showed any emotion as she is already habitual of the event that has just occurred. She placed her hands on the floor to find her stick. When she couldn't find her stick she starts crawling to look for her stick, but she still couldn't find it.
Suddenly she screamed, not filled with anger but with sadness and pain. More like a frustrated scream. "Why?" she called out. "Why me out of all people?". Now she was crying out loud not the muffle sounds that she has made through out past four years at night to cover up her pain from others but clear loud sounds showing her agony.
He witnessed the whole situation and without any further delay, he quietly got up from his seat and walked towards her. He quietly picked up her cane and placed it right in front of her and move to the side. She got up and when she was about to walk her feet touched her cane. Some dry tears were still visible on her face. She bend down and grab her stick and safely made it out the hall.
Something in his heart made him follow her, and he was surprised when she throw her stick and walked out of the park to the road. Now he was following her out of concern because he is well known by the place where she was going. He himself has gone to that place and the only place he has visited many times. The Han River bridge.
