" well .. new year , new life ? " i smiled looking at my crush that ive liked since 2017.
" yup, new year and new school . especially for you " he smiled big looking at my smile.
" yeah , after staying back for another for sixth grade. finally moving to middle school " i said happily.
the thing is... that guy is landon and hes my cousin's bestfriend - which 5 years older than me ..

my phone started buzzing so fast. its a text from rose saying shes gonna pick me up.

" i swear to god elena , we're gonna be late for school " she yelled as she helped me pack my bag.
" okay lets go! " i groaned and i walk out of her house.

" omg i have something to tell you " i screamed for her to listen only.
" what ? " rose replied excitedly
" i havent confessed to my crush yet " i frowned and looked down.
" oh my fu - what are you waiting for ? this might be your chance. " she looked at me straight in my eyes.
" yea, but im scared that something will happen to us. hes older than me and who knows something might happen, r - right ? " i said in a sad tone while looking down on my shoes.
" its okay elena, slowly okay ? everythings gonna be fine. im here for you " she tried to cheer me up.

me and rose got into our class and sat beside each other. everyones face we see is a new person to us but our classmate. i kinda miss being in sixth grade.

" this fucking primary school is one of a hell ! i cant wait to fucking graduate and fucking leave yall dumbass soon ! " i screamed to my 17 people classmate because we have a really small students on our class.
" elena, calm down - " my teacher got cut mid way her sentence.
" you dont fucking convince me how good this school is. this school gives me bad luck . i got suspended twice when its not my fault. im always the principal's favourite student. i fucking hate this school ! " i screamed as i walked out of the class.

i've always hated that school . especially with this little bitch who ruins my whole life.

rose POV
" the class chairman will be ... elena !! congrats " i looked at her standing up, i can see her shaking so much . she have so bad anxiety and she literally can breakdown from it. i looked her into her eyes and mouthed that everything will be okay. she nodded and smiled.
" im so happy for you elena, you deserve it . i cant believe most of our classmate voted for you " i cried a little and gave her a tight hug.
" b - but " she blurted out.
" but what elena ? what's wrong? " i asked her in a calm tone.
" we've known each other for so long and im scared that you'll forget me when you found new bestfriend. " her eyes got watery as she said that. i hugged her
" no elena, i wont. i promised " i put my index finger on her chin and lift it up, making her looking at me.
" rose, i love you so much. i appreciate it. you respect my decision, help me through everything. make sure i wasnt hurt by anyone. im so lucking to have someone like you who cared for me so much " she hugged me while i cried a little.
im so lucky to have elena as my bestfriend, im so scared that someone might break her heart after her last toxic relationship break up.

i looked at rose and she was thinking something and she frowned.
" hey rose, whats wrong? did i say something wrong ?" i questioned her. she shaked her head as no.

i got home and text landon saying im already at home. he have been the sweetest to me ever since i felt left out for a long time. he would buy me something to cheer me up. he makes me so happy. he's different than anyone else ive met.
