The rest of the week went on rather quickly. On Saturday Nikita and I finally found the perfect dress for me to wear to the formal. Which is a relief because now I dont have to worry about Nikita getting cranky at me every day for not having found one yet. It took us so long to find one and then we found the one. Ever since we found the dress Nikita hasn't shut up about being able to finally meet a vampire.
"Today is the day Lilly so hurry up and get out of bed. You might be ok with being late but is that how you want your first impression on a vampire to be. Now come on and get your sleepy ass out of bed and get in the damn shower", said Nikita pulling me out of bed and throwing my school uniform at me.
It felt odd to arrive at school thirty minutes earlier. Normally I am either late or just on time. As we entre the class room I notice that many students were early. Everyone was buzzing with excitement about being able to meet a vampire. Of cause Anna was the main person you could here boasting about how she has already met a vampire and that it's not a big deal. "I kinda feel sorry for her", said Nikita looking at Anna with sad eyes. " Why?" I snapped "she's a bitch!". "Well the only reason everyone pretends to be her friend is because she is rich and her daddy is on the counsel" said Nikita. Dean walked up to us. "Hey Nikita". Dean has had the biggest crush on Nikita since Nikita develop boobs most guys have. "Oh good morning to you to dean" I said pissed at the fact the he didnt even notice me. "Oh Lilly I didnt see you. Your early today normally...",he started to say but I cut him of. "Lets go sit down". The last thing I need is to hear about how I'm either late all the time or just arriving in the nick of time I thought.
While everyone was talking about getting to meet a vampire and swaping storys of what they have heard about vampires Mrs Smithfield walk into the class room. "Wow it is excellent to see eveyone here so early" said Mrs Smithfield give me a quick smile. "As we all know today is a very special day for each and every one of you as you get to meet a vampire", as Mrs Smithfield finished her sentence a man with short blond hair strolled into the room. "Sorry if I am late". "No you are just on time", said Mrs Smithfield looking at the man then at the clock. "I would like you all to meet Dorian". Dorian walk to the middle of the class room. "Hello my name is Dorian it is an absolute pleasure to meet y'all and I hope I can help with any question you may have". He had a cute cowboy accent that was just to die for. It suited the rustic country styled cloths he was wearing.
As the day went on he spoke about many things such as how many vampires chose not to have last name and how that when a vampire is turned they have the right to change their name. He didnt aswer to many of our question when it came to vampires but everyone seemed to warm up to him pretty quickly. As we were having a group discussion about what we thought the academy would be like there was a knock on the class room door. When Mrs Smithfield opened the class room and two men entred the room, the class went quite. They spoke quietly with Mrs Smithfield and Dorian.
I notice his ligthing eyes and new straight away the it was the man from the assembly.
"Everyone this is Mr Jackobson and Dimitri they will be sitting in on the rest of today's lesson for research purposes", said Mrs Smithfield.
DIMITRI
I Can't beleive I am going to be spending the next few months with these pathetic little humans I thought to my self. Looking around the class room at them just made me hungry. I will never think of a human as anything more the food. While their teacher is talking to the class I walk to the back of the classroom. What were the counsel thinking sending me here? They know what I think of human. As I observied the pathetic race I started to think which one would taste the best. I love when my food look as good as it tastes. While Looking around I notice that the head of the counsel's daughter was in the room. Mabye to get back at the counsel for wasting my time I should rip her pretty little throat out and suck her dry in front of all these little brats.
As the class started to come to an end Mr Jackobson turned to me and whispered "Now would be a great time to announce that there will be vampires coming to the dance". I knew that when he said that he wanted me to tell them. I stood up and cleared my throat I new that instantly their eyes would fall on me it was aways like that when it came to humans. "I would like to announce that at your formal there will also be vampires attending. The human and vampire counsels alike believed that it would be appropriate for you have positive interactions with vampire and this is a special occasion for both races". As I keep talking I could see the girls in the class rooms eyes light up at the news as it was in all the classes I had to attend today. "Thank you for having us".
As I walked out of the room I decided that I was going to have a little fun. "Oh and I look forward to seeing you all there" I said with a wink at the end.
LILLY
When class started the next day even Nikita was surprised that I was there before the bell. "What", I said looking at her. "Nothing it's just not normal for you to be here early two days in a row" she explained. "Well the only reason I was eary yestuday is because some bitch decide to come to my house and wake me up" I replied glaring at her. "Ok everyone take you seats class will start in five!" yelled Mrs Smithfield.
"Dorian would you like to start?" . "Sure thing ma'm. Now I have some bad news today we'll be having a test. Now before y'all start to panic in not a hard test. This test is important but not difficult. By completing this test we get an idea of what class you should be in and that is how your subjects will be decided. Now as I mentioned yesturday you will have 2 subjects that you can choose from but the rest is predetermined and this test I am handing out will help with that distinction. He finished walking around the class room handing each student their test. Now you are not aloud to speak to one another about what classes you have put down this is all up to you. How ever you may seek help from me or Mrs Smithfield. Now before you get started once you have finished you may leave for the day and we will see you at the formal tomorrow".
I flew through the test like no tomorrow and was out of there in an hour. Once Nikita finished we headed on home. "So tomorrow I will be at yours around ten o'clock" said Nikita as I turned the corner onto my street.
