As the the trio left the avenger compound to visit Tony's new estate, Athea sat in a training room meditating. Her eyes were closed with a soft expression placed upon her face.
Ever since, the destroying of the stones. Athea's chest hurt every hour or so and it would only be a matter of time where it felt like her heart was going to jump out of her chest and spill onto the floor in front of her.
Without Carol there to help control and train, Athea felt helpless unable to do it herself.
As minutes went by, the feeling came back and suddenly her fingers began to twitch and to spaz uncontrollably.
Purple kinetic energy began to form in her palms. Something horrible was overcoming her sight in the meditation. The small brunette let out a horrid scream and fell to the floor. The images of destruction and a purple light twisted through her mind as if it were warning her.
The unpleasant feeling hit her harder when she was laying on her back. Lights around the training room began to explode and shatter onto the the tiles floor.
The sounds of her cries echoed the facility. Nobody was home and she hit with another wave.
Natasha phone started to vibrate as they were talking to Tony about this whole time machine. It was an alert from the Avengers Facility, nobody was home except for.... Romanoff's eyes widened and quickly pulled Steve aside."We got a problem at the Facility. It's Athea. Wrap this up quick now!" She whispered. Tony rolled his eyes "You know if you wanted to talk privately you could've just left the area and not make it look like your ready to kidnap someone." He explained.
Natasha only gave him a look and walked away to the car. Scott and rushed back to following

Athea sat in the corner of the destroyed training room. Scorch marks littered the floors and walls, her shaky figure cried as a ceiling light exploded right in front of her and shattered on impact.
"Athea!" A voice faintly echoed the room. Rogers kicked down the door that had been blocked by a couple punching bags. His eyes traveled the room and saw the woman on the floor.
"Athea!" He rushed over to her and slide down to her level. "Are you hurt? What happened?! Were you at-" he stopped rambling as the girl met his eyes. Her veins were glowing a dangerous color and her eyes were written with pain.
Steve knew this was one for her episodes but it has never gotten this bad. He hugged her gently and felt her body rack with sobs.
"It's hurts! I saw...awful things." She hiccuped. "I saw him taking my heart." She whispered. Steve shushed her and began to rub her head and back with circles.
"No one is going to hurt you Athea. Ill make sure of it." Steve reassured and hugged the trembling girl. It was only a matter of time where they wouldn't be able to do anything.
Steve thought it would be the best for Athea to eat something or try earth food as she isn't human.
"Come on, I feel like I'm the only one eating." The big green man grinned. He wore glasses and was a giant compared to the ones that sat at the table. "Try some of that. Have some eggs." He pushed some white food toward Athea. She only just stared at it in confusion.
"What is this? This was never in the vocabulary lesson?" Athea questioned Steve.
The man only smiled and pushed a fork in front of her. "You'll like it. Trust me."
Scott looks between banner and Athea who show weird behavior at the table. "I'm so confused." He blinked a couple of times.
"These are confusing times." Banner said seriously. Athea grabbed her fork before stabbing the eggs on the plate. She gave Natasha a look of disgust as she smelled the weird food.
"Right. No, no, that's not what I meant!" Scott answered trying to change the subject.
"No, I get it. I'm kidding! I know. It's crazy. I'm wearing shirts now." Banner started to joke dropping his scary serious impression.
"Yeah! Wh...How? Why?" Lang questioned.
Athea gently put the food back on her plate and slid it to the super soldier. "No?" He asked her. The brunette shook her head, she didn't want to open her mouth afraid that something bad will happen to her. Natasha gave her hand a reassuring squeeze "It's fine Steve. If she doesn't want to eat....then she doesn't want to eat." Natasha said. The three of them turned back to the conversation with Banner and Lang not wanting to miss anything important.
"Five years ago, we got our asses beaten. Except it was worse for me. Because I lost twice. First, Hulk lost, then Banner lost. Then, we all lost." Bruce sighed.
"No one blamed you, Bruce." Natasha said. the whole atmosphere seemed sad and depressing. Athea only looked down at her covered arms. Her veins had been spiking purple and so she wanted to cover them up. Athea didn't want to be looked upon as a Freak.
"I did. For years, I've been treating the Hulk like he's some kind of disease, something to get rid of. But then I started looking at him as the cure. Eighteen months in a gamma lab. I put the brains and the brawn together. And now look at me. Best of both worlds..." Bruce explained.
Out of no where, three children walk up to the hulk excitedly. "Excuse me, Mr. Hulk?" The little girl asked.
"Yes?" Bruce looked towards the group in confusion.
That's when the girl stated her purpose "can we get a photo?" She smiled.
"100%, little person. Come on, step up." Bruce smiler and turned to Scott with a camera in his hand. "You mind?" Questioned Hulk.
"Oh...yeah." Scott states awkwardly and took the small object from his green fingers.
"Say green!" Bruce grinned. Scott snapped the photo of the group and handed the camera back.
Athea smiled sadly. These people had looked happy meanwhile Athea was suffering inside.
