renjun smelled the drink. "something wrong with it?" jeno asked, gulping down his own. oh, it had been long since jeno felt alcohol running down his throat, and he missed it.
he knew he should take it slow, but already feeling lighter in his head made him forget the bad things. he refilled his cup and clinked it against renun's.
renjun slowly took a sip, but he scrunched his face. "you don't like it?" jeno asked, renjun shook his head. but renjun still drank it.
"heyyyy, jae!" ryung said, swaying her hips while she walked towards the boy.
"oh, hi mark." her expression changed. "hi ryung."
jaemin noticed the tension between the two. he turned mark away and look him in the eyes. "i like her." he quickly said, before ryung could interrupt.
mark's eyes widened. "don't worry jae, go for it." he said, walking away after patting the younger's shoulder. jaemin beamed a smile and turned back to ryung.
mark walked to the table with the drinks. most people were dancing, all drowning in alcohol. mark hadn't touched it, since he knew he acted weird under the influence in alcohol. that's how he and ryung became a thing.
"not a party animal?" a voice asked, and mark twitched his head to the side. it was mihi. "i can be. i just don't do alcohol anymore."
"why?"
"i start saying weird things." mihi nodded.
she looked at donghyuck. he was so close to kiko. they were grinding on each other, and mihi swore she was on the brink of throwing up. "he's wilding out there, isn't he?" mark asked, and mihi looked at him.
"i told him she's not as sweet as he thinks."
"don't worry, he'll find out."
they looked back at the two. kiko came closer to donghyuck, and in an instant she smashed her lips against his. mihi froze on her spot. she didn't know what she had expected, but she definitely didn't expect donghyuck to kiss her back, grabbing her ass.
mihi threw her cup over the table and walked out of the canteen. mark looked at the liquid splatters over his pyjama, but decided to follow mihi into the girl's bathroom.
in the meanwhile, jisung had completely forgotten about chenle and nari, who probably went somewhere outside to act lovey-dovey.
"hi, jisung." a voice said, and jisung turned around. "hi hyun." he replied. they danced together.
"i saw you looking at nari all the time." he said, moving closer to jisung. jisung gulped.
" i wasn't looking at her." he denied. he was looking at chenle.
"yeah right. you don't have to pretend." he moved even closer, their limbs brushing past each other at some times.
"i swear, i was looking at chenle."
hyun laughed. "you're cute." he said, and they continued dancing together. "do you have a girlfriend or boyfriend?" he asked.
jisung shook his head, thinking back about hana. "she broke up with me today." he said.
"why would she? is she here? imma beat her up!" hyun joked, but jisung thought there was some seriousness in it. "no! we facetimed. but we're okay." he tried, and hyun laughed again.
"i guess you need no help with getting over her then, i suppose?" hyun said, taking a step back. jisung felt the warmth disappear, he hated it. he pulled hyun's shoulders. "i could use the company."
