Aaron's POV

I opened my eyes and it was morning. Aphmau wasn't awake yet. I hugged her and got out of bed. Lilith started crying and I ran over to her.

Aaron: Shh, its ok sweetheart. Daddy's here.

Aphmau rolled over. I was scared Lilith had woken her up. Luckily she was still asleep. I sighed a sigh of relief and walked out front with Lilith still in my arms. The village had changed a lot since the last time I was here. It looked like it had a couple more houses. Just then Garroth approached me.

Garroth: Hey, man!

Aaron: Hey, Garroth. What's up?

Garroth: I came to see how you, Aphmau, and little Lilith were doing.

Aaron: We're doing good. Aphmau is still asleep right now. What all happened while I was gone?

Garroth: A lot happened. Nekoette moved in to the village. She'll will probably bake you an apple pie when she hears your back. 

Aaron: Heh, I'll probably go visit everyone else today.

Just then Aphmau opened the door. She looked exhausted.

Aphmau: Hey... Good morning...

Aaron: Good morning. Did you not sleep well?

Aphmau: I did just... Morning sickness.

Aaron: Oh, ok. Garroth, let's go inside.

Garroth walked inside after me. I set Lilith down in her little crib. 

Aphmau's POV

I walked up behind Aaron and wrapped my arms around his waist.

Aaron: Aphmau.

He turned around and kissed my forehead. I felt bad all the sudden, ran over to a bucket, and threw up. 

Aaron: Are you ok?

Aphmau: Yeah, you go talk to Garroth.

Aaron gave me a concerned look but still walked back to Garroth. I laid in bed and I threw up a couple more times. (Ok, Idk if this is how pregnancy works. I've never been pregnant give me a break lol.) Eventually I was ok and Garroth and Aaron had left to go visit everyone else. I decided to sit down with Lilith for a little while. Eventually Aaron came home.

Aaron: Hey, Babe. 

Aphmau: Hey, how are you?

Aaron: Good, how are you?

Aphmau: Good. Can we go out on a picnic just like old times?

Aaron: Of course. I'd love to.

Aaron and I grabbed the things we needed and headed off to the woods with Lilith. We got to the spot he would always take us. As I sat down he wrapped his arms around my waist.

Aphmau: Heh, Aaron.

Aaron put his face into my shoulder and just cried into it.

Aphmau: A-Aaron?! What's wrong?

I hugged him and we just sat there holding each other for about 5 minutes.

Aaron: Today when I was out with Garroth and we ran into Laurence. H-He threatened to kill you if I tried to marry you or even love you. I love you and I can't stop myself from loving you. 

Aphmau: Aaron, he is the only who wants you dead in this village. We will all keep you safe.

He held on to me. Just then we heard yelling in the forest.
