"Yo D, what's going on?" Los asked taking a seat. I called a meeting because things have been crazy in the city, more crazy than normal.

"As y'all know, shit has been blowing up lately and the streets don't know why. Now because of this, it's making everything hot. So until shit cools down, we lay low" i explained to them. I wasn't risking my family, just for some money and damn sure not my freedom.

"I feel you on that cuz, people dying left and right. I ain't never seen it, like this" Hussle spoke, as he pulled out a blunt. Hussle was my older brother and taught me everything I know.

How to lay low and not be so loud, the streets are always watching. How to demand respect and never let anyone play you. To keep your circle small, always watch your own back and take care of your family. The only difference between us was age, and my disorder. But he's never let that get in between us.

"Glad we know have to save, word on the street is that nigga Evan, the one who owns that club. Yeah somebody offed him and now his pops killing everybody" Los said, as he strolled through his phone. My eyes darted to him.

"You said Evan?" I questioned, he nodded. Los was my cousin, his father is my uncle. Los was sometimes a show off and he didn't know how to control himself. Any sign of disrespect and he was letting yo ass have it. But for the most part, he was a goof ball and just loved making people laugh.

"Who the fuck is his pops?" My other cousin S-dot asked. Sean truly wasn't built for this lifestyle and he knew that, but he was family and Los, brother so we had to bring him in. He's smart as fuck, and he's the one who washes out money. I don't trust no one with my money but him. Regardless of his look, he knew how to buss a gun even if he was a lover boy ass nigga.

"Some Russian old nigga" Los shrugged. My mind was racing, i had to make sure shit didn't fall back on Jay or myself. I fear no one but a war was something I've never been in and i didn't want to start one.

"Look, I know y'all good on money so like I said, we lay low like we been doing. Aight?" I looked around making sure we were all on the same page. They nodded agreeing and i nodded. I dismissed the meeting, ready to head back home to Jay.

"Lil bro, let me holla at you for a second" Hussle spoke still sitting down. Walking over, he passed me the blunt. "You good?" He asked.

"Yeah, why?" I frowned my face.

"Nigga, I'm your big brother I know. But if you say you good, then I'll respect it but holla if you need me"
