Lunch was over and we soon began class. You were meaning to talk to Kris and Susie and ask them where they went but you were stopped by Ms. Alphys. She explained to the class that the we were behind on math and that we had to start quickly. The topic: geometry. You were always fond of math. It was practically your best subject. Ms. Alphys started to explain the concept like using 90° angles and some theorems like the Triangle Sum Theorem.
Ms. Alphys started to draw a triangle on the board. As she started writing, the chalk made an ear-raping noise that made everyone jump. The sound was emmensly unbearable to hear. You as well as others covered their ears.

"ABC is a r-right triangle. AM is p-perpendicular to BC. The s-size of angle ABC i-is equal to 55 d-degrees. So what is the angle m-measurment of MAC?"
This is easy. You were at the back of the classroom so you can see everyone looking dumbfounded by the problem while they wrote in their notebooks. Kris was just looking at the chalkboard and doing something with their fingers as if they were writing something but in air. Susie gave up even before she could have tried. Noelle was struggling to put the pieces together. Even the little birdy look like he was having a bad time.
"S-so does any one havean answer?" Ms. Alphys asked the class after a few minutes. Everyone was quiet, mostly because they didn't knew how to do it.
"W-well-"
"Angle MAC is 55°," you cut off Ms. Alphys off. Once you said that, you felt immediately look down feeling embarrassed. You cut off the teacher god dammit, now everyone will think your rude or something, you thought.
"That's c-correct, Y/N m-may you come over t-to the board and demonstrate w-what you did?"
This is an even worse situation! You got up from your seat and headed towards the door. You can feel everyone's eyes following your very step. You nervous definately like always.
"S-so umm you see here t-that angle BMA would a-also be 90°," you get the chalk and drew a square.

And since we know that angle ABC is 55°," you became more confident," we can use the Triangle Sum Theorem to see the angle BAM is 35°. After that we can use complimentary angles to see that angles MAC is 55°. There is another fester way to do this way to do this but...ummm" and then you realized were rambling," yeah I don't remember what t-the formula w-was called..."
"Thank you Y-Y/N for that wonderful e-explaination!" Ms. Alphys explained "Seems you know a-alot, c-can you go around the c-class to see if anyone needs help w-with the rest of the p-problems, you don-t have to do the worksheet i-if you do," you nodded at the yellow lizard and so you walked around the classroom like she asked you to. Soon enough Kris waved at you to come over. You started to get more nervous as you got closer to Kris but you didn't know why.
"Umm yes Kris?" you said quietly as you lean their desk. They pointed at the third question.

"Actually you almost here j-just need one last step!" you smiled. You can see theirface tinted a fadded red, you wondered why but iu brushed it off. "Since line CD is a pependi- wait I said that wrong, pependi-, perpindi-" you can Kris trying to hold their laugh, they had their hand on their mouth but they couldn't hold it in anymore. Everyone turned towards you two looking surprised.
"Kris pelase calm down!" you leaned towards them so they can hear. You feel your face getting redder and redder. Kris started to calm down a bit. They looked at your redden face and panicked.
'Sorry!' they mouthed.
"I-it's alright," you noticed how close you were to Kris again and backed away quickly. You looked at the others now working on the sheet again. That's a relief.
"ANYway, umm," you looked at them awkwardly, "that word-" they snickered.
"Sorry, couldn't help it," they said.
"It's alright, we should probably continue... hehe," you chuckled nervously.
During the time with Kris, sometimes you cought Kris staring at you, hey would look back at their work quickly after you noticed. Weird. Some time sfter, you were helping with the others, it kind of got boring after going through the same problems. After you finished with Catti, you walked back to your seat seeig that noone else needed help. You assumed too soon when Noelle walked to your seat. Of course she stiffened a little when she passed Susie.
"H-hi Noelle! What do you need help on?" you said
"Oh no I don't need help just wanted to talk!" she smiled.
"Okay... what did you wanted to talk about?" Noelle got closer to you.
"How did you got Kris to laugh?" she asked almost whispering to your ear.
"I-I dont know, I couldn't pronounced something correctly and hey just started to do that," you said quickly.
"Okay then, oh wait-" she wrote something on your notebook, it was her number "we should hang out!"
