Vanessa Hiram's view;
"Ma'am, come on. The plane landed." The pilot told me, as my vision came in.
"Alright." I smiled, grabbing my luggage and headed out of the plane. In the airport it was very busy. My cab ride should be here now. I looked around and looked.
'Vanessa Hiram' a sign said in the middle of the airport.
"Vanessa?" The cabbie driver asked me, as I approached him.
"Yep."
We walked outside and it was windy out. "Here it is, Ms. Hiram." The cab rider, Michael said.
The cab ride was long and boring. The only sounds there were the wind blowing the leaves around.
Outside the houses looked old and abandon. We reached the gates of the school and they opened up. The grass outside was brown and rotted. One side of the field was a track field. A tennis court, and a basketball court.
We turned onto one of the streets. 'caѕper drιve' The sign said. The cab turned into a drive way and the gray stoned house was standing in front of us. "Thank you." I said, and got out. He popped the trunk and I got my luggage.
"If you ever need a ride, call me. Our company works with the school." He smiled, handing me a card, then rushing into the car.
I walked up the six steps and rang the doorbell. A group of girls opened the door. "You must be Vanessa. We've been waiting for you. Come, come." A young brunette said, and picked up one of my suitcases.
"Let me get all your suitcases." A Blondie said taking my bags and putting them next to the staircase where the other girls stuff were.
"Come on, the meeting is about to start." The brunette said to me.
I walked into the sitting room where all of the girls sat.
"Hello, I'm Kris. I'm in charge of the house. I make all the rules and they are pretty fair. And this is Di.
Di is the staff in the house. There is also Matte, but she won't be with us until October." Kris explained.
Kris had ginger hair, and green eyes. Her voice was cherry and calm.
"I will pass this ball around the room. When you get it, you say your name and age." Kris said giving the ball to the brunette.
"I'm 15, and I'm Ruby." Ruby said, then handed the ball to the girl next to her.
"I'm Fern, and I'm 14. About to turn 15 in a month." Fern said, and passed the ball to the girl next to me.
"I'm Daisy and I'm 15."
"I'm Vanessa and I'm 15. " I said being confident.
"I'm Mariah and I'm 15." Mariah said, passing it to the brunette I first saw at the front door.
"I'm Karin and I'm 14."
"Tiara and 15."
"Leanna and 15."
"Maggie and 16."
"Iris, 15."
"Melissa, 16."
"Claire, 14."
"Mckenzie, 15."
"Jenna, 16."
"Great to have you all here. I will pass the list around and let you all know who your roommates are. And of course the room number." Kris said handing out a pile of paper.
Once I got it, I read it.
[Room 2, Jenna, Melissa, Maggie.
Room 6, Mckenzie, Claire.
Room 8, Iris, Leanna, Tiara.
FLOOR 3
Room 10, Karin, Ruby.
Room 12, Fern, Daisy.
Room 14, Mariah, Vanessa. ]
"Were roommates." Mariah smiled, joyfully at me.
"If you guys have any problem with your roommates, please let us know. We can change rooms. Also if you think anything needs to be fixed, let staff know." Kris said.
"My office and bedroom is in the basement. If you need anything from me, that's where I'll be. Okay, me and Di will be dismissing you room by room. So room 2, get your belongings." Kris said then walking out of the room.
