Vanessa's view;
When I woke up, Mariah was on her bed painting her nails. "Why are you up so early?" I asked her, sitting up."It's not early, it's eight o'clock. Come on, we've got to pick out an outfit for tonight." She said, then blew her nails.
"What's tonight?" I asked, picking up my phone.
"Our double date!" Mariah squealed.
"Oh yeah, I'm so excited!" I said, going through my text messages.
Liam texted me around two thirty in the morning, saying "I love you." It made me blush deeply. It wasn't a surprise that he would be up at that time.
"Do you have anything that will impress Liam?" Mariah asked me.
"Well I'm not looking to impress, he likes me for who I am." I told her, checking my Instagram and seeing pictures from the party.
"This is what guys look for. Guys will wear there favorite pair of jeans, then a plain shirt. So we girls, have to do our part." She explained to me.
She looked through her closet and pulled out a pink dress. It looked like it fits me. "This should fit, I'll get everything ready for you, I can take care of myself. Now go get ready for the jog." Mariah said.
"I don't want to jog, my head is killing me." I said, giving her a look.
"You were definitely partying last night." Mariah said, smirking at me.
"Maybe."
I made my way downstairs and took three Advil's. Di was in the kitchen waiting for her coffee to be ready.
"I'm not going to say anything, but listen to me." Di said, with a serious face. "That Liam boy is no good, he is a low life drug addict. It's your decision, be with him, or make the right decision."
I gave her a look of anger. "Fine."
-
I didn't go jogging or church. It wasn't for me. I got ready for tonight, the dress looked perfect on me. Mariah did my hair and did my makeup. "You look perfect." She said.
Her outfit was perfect, but mine wasn't.
"Let's go." Mariah said, pulling me out of the room.
Kris drove us, but Di was the one coming with us.
"First rule is, no alcohol. Or I will never bring you guys out again." Kris said.
"Second rule. Don't sneak off, you'll get lost. I know your teenagers and should be out having fun, but it's our jobs to make sure your safe. Di won't be near you, but she'll just need to supervise."
Me and Mariah stopped listening and jumped out and saw Liam and Ben sitting on the sidewalk. There eyes brighten when they saw us.
"You look great." Ben said, then kissed Mariah.
"Beautiful as always." Liam said hugging me.
He wanted to be casual, and it was cute.
"I've got something cool to show you." Liam whispered to me and Ben gave us a look, like approving something.
"Once the movie starts, were sneaking out. We'll be back by the end of the movie." Ben said to us.
We walked to the blanket and sat down, Di was in the snack bar and order food for herself. Me and Liam started talking about the movie trying to stall.
"So, did you know so and so dies?" He asked, with a huge smirk on his face."Liam, you don't need to act like you care, just lets go. I don't care what Di thinks, she'll be scarfing food down her throat. " I said laughing at my own joke, Mariah gave me a look as in 'Don't try to impress'
We all stood up and jogged into the woods. There was a path that led to a parking lot. "I call shotgun!" Ben said, opening the door for Mariah.
Me and Liam climbed into the back of the Jeep Wrangler."Where are we going?" Mariah asked, she was giddy.
"It's a surprise." Ben said to me and Mariah.
The air outside was cold. Of course I had my dress on with short sleeves. Liam nudged me and pulled of his leather jacket and helped me put it on. "Thanks," I smiled, enjoying the warmth.
We drove down an abandon road and stopped at a parking lot. "What are we doing here?" Mariah was obviously confused.
"Bomb fire, and some drugs." Liam said as we jumped out of the car.
