Chapter 8

Vanessa Hirams view;

Liam walked me back. He was smiling the whole time, and joking with me. The tests must've work out for him. "What's your power?" He asked me, as we held hands.
"Fire and ice, not so exciting." I shrugged.

"You think that's not exciting? Come on Vanes, you can change temperature. That would be so cool if I could," Liam said to me, smiling the whole time.
"Well, it might be." I shrugged. When we got to my door, he smiled and touched my arm. "I love you, Nessy." He smirked.
We looked into each other eyes, his blue eyes sparkle into mine. In a matter of seconds, he started leaning in. He was defiantly going to kiss me.
Eh, why not? I leaned in and our lips connected. It was sweet and tender. It felt like magic and when it ended, the front door opened.

"So, Vanessa, how was that kiss?" Kris asked me, smirking.

"Nice have you Liam, see you around." Kris said, and pulled me in.

"Why are you with that kid?" Kris asked, as we walked into the sitting room.

"He's my boyfriend," I spit out, filled with attitude.

She gave me a look of disbelief, and yelled "Go to your room, missy!"
I gave her the dirtiest look ever, and ran up to my room. Inside my room was Mariah. She was on her laptop, and smiling.

"What's going on?" She asked, looking up.

"Liam kissed me and Kris got mad." I explained to her, sitting on my bed.

When dinner came everyone rushed downstairs. They all looked happy until they saw Kris. "Sit down ladies."
No food was on the table, or in the kitchen. On the table was a skirt and a regular t shirt.

"I am tired of your behaviors!" Kris shouted. All the girls sat in there chairs, looking scared.
"All of you will be wear outfits we give you. Plus no relationships aloud. Now go up to your rooms and write five good paragraphs about why this shouldn't be a rule. If they are good, then you'll be able to have dinner." Kris told us, and we all stood up in complete shock.

We all went to our rooms and started writing. "This is nonsense, how could she do this?" Mariah asked me, sitting on her bed.

The next day;

When we woke up nothing was like yesterday. Kris was smiling and happy. She even made all of us a nice breakfast. Mariah and I gave each other weird looks.
The girls didn't say anything, they just enjoyed it. "Just go get dressed girls! Anything you like!" She said, after we all took our vitamins.

My outfit was black skinny jeans a white and green tshirt, then a white scarf with white shoes. Me and Mariah started talking about Kris.
"Have you seen Kiran?" I asked Mariah, pulling my skinny jeans on.

"No I haven't, why?" She asked, looking at her laptop.

"She told me she was pregnant, I didn't know if she got kicked out." I told her, as I tied my sneakers.

We got our money out of the bathroom and she gave me her phone for some reason.
"Call Liam, hes dying to hear from you." Mariah told me, and handed me her cell.

Liam's number was on the screen, I pressed call and it rang. "Hello?" Liam's voice echoed in my ear.

"Hi, Mariah said you wanted to talk to me?" I asked him, as I sat on my bed, nervous.

"Yea! Ness I wanted you to know I'm sorry about last night. Kris overreacted, and I'm sorry."

"How do you know Kris?" I asked, curious.
